these are some pretty outdated views you're reciting here. schizophrenia is not multiple personality, and the mother also doesn't take all the blame.

This can be a very debilitating disease. Thankfully, gone are the days of blaming-it-on-the-mother, insulin comas and other such harsh treatments. There are some amazing medications for schizophrenia now.
