Gotta love all those drivers who think their right of way is better than yours. I don't mind if they want to take themselves out of the gene pool but I don't want them to take me with them!!
@alyena2004 Thanks for your comments on my videos (surprisingly few people watch more of my videos after seeing the first "episode", despite leaving really positive comments). As to your previous question, I use a Kodak ZX5 with a wide angle lens.
There was absolutely no footage shot in Woodbridge in your entire series. I thought 90% of this was going to be in Woodbridge. I live in NOVA and the people drive like b!tches I actually curse in front of my mom just to let my anger out when someone cuts here off.(Self Defense) There was this study thing that Virginia and seven other states had more bad drivers than other states. I think it's because cell phone use is still legal there. And more of the bad drivers are women, not men
@fireman0701 There's a busy (refinery?) right off of Pickett road over here. The road is relatively narrow, there's a light every hundred feet, and the lanes are packed with cars. And it's in a sort of minor valley, so getting out is uphill both ways. I don't envy the oil truck drivers that need to get in/out of that facility.
I do similar bad driver complilations, and I notice that Virginia seems to have a major problem with multi-lane lane changes and last second turns. I rarely see that here in Oregon.
Thanks! It's very interesting what your doing here with your channel. I'm in this mess everyday, and it has become the most frustrating social study I've ever been a part of.
I literally had to LEARN to drive again when I moved here. Back home, if you don't move when a light turns green, the driver behind you will get out of their car, and politely ask if you need any help. You think I'm kidding. Good luck w/ the new editing program, and I look forward to more.
From a "safety" viewpoint, it's great that you go out expecting to see these other drivers do what they do. (Being Forewarned is Being Forearmed...) After watching a couple of your vids I found that my hands were gripping my chair a little too tightly. (All the stress of being there but none of the real dangers). I'm going to the store later today to get some milk. Definitely gonna walk there. Yup. Gonna stay on the sidewalk. 8-D
@Nwrig004 Yep! I swear if I could just drive past those two areas a dozen times a day I'd have enough footage to make a full length feature film in a month.
In Minnesota we have a big problem with rubberneckers. Once i was driving and there was a car pulled over with like 3 or 4 cops behind in in far right shoulder. I was on the far left lane and as we pass the incident the guy in front of me slams on his breaks. haha i swear my horn will never sound the same after that
@JcBrooks651 lol I call that Xtreeme Rubbernecking. One time I came to a stop in a turning lane when the car in front of me stopped suddenly. I was close... about three feet from his bumper but a guy in the lane to our right decided he was going to get a closer look.... he came to a complete stop in moving traffic (with a look of disbelief on his face that I didn't hit the car). Idiots are all over.
wow crazy stuff and I gotta admit you deal with alot of that and I love how you make your compilations just so straight to the point and what not! last four clips just nuts and amazing captures! another amazing capture is that minor accident you caught and helped which is awesome!
@rextinctione Yeah I kind of made fun of how excited I was when it happened. It was such a minor fender bender but it's the only thing like that that I've caught. I guess that's good in a way because no one got hurt. If the guy had been a foot further to the left as he was driving, the outcome could have been much much worse.
On the flipside, Columbus, Ohio, has some of the best drivers. I've been very impressed. Florida, the whole state, is among the worst, but not maybe not quite as bad as NOVA.
everyone i know or have run into who drives any kinda construction trucks weather it be cement trucks, dumptrucks, utility trucks, etc are never in the best of moods. kinda sad too. cause they are usually raking in the dough. but i know better then to cut them off. great captures as always. edited short, sweet and to the point.
why are you hiding the license plates?

@utah4you The short answer is common courtesy.

My gosh this is the highest concentration of poor drivers I've seen. I'm glad your woman is honest and admits she's a terrible driver.

Had someone do like the guy at 1:50 in front of me once, except he slammed on his brakes, forcing me to go to the shoulder to avoid rear-ending him.

I travel these roads in a 40,000 lb oil truck I've seen and had most of this done to me.
