I've beaten this level... once. A very, very, VERY long time ago. I believe I used the balloon powerup to do it, but it was hard as hell. And I am NOWHERE near good enough to do it without powerups. That much I DO know, at least. :P

I had played it on the GBA version and it's not hard at all to me; I just get the balloon, steer Mario across the obstacles and hit the specific ? blocks to get more balloons.The Special level that freaked me out was the one called "awesome".

I dunno, I was so mad trying to get past the flying fish and bullet-bills along those tiny slippery platforms ( without the star ).
