Acc. to my info, Nagasvaram player had to tie his towel around waist upon seeing priests who were Brahmins.This practice made Mr Karunanidhi feel inferior, however,was symbolised not a mark of respect to the man,but God's praises all the time he chanted on behalf of worshippers' interests.But K's political blood would not let him accept that.

Anti Brahmin hatred was deep seated as it is today in his mind. Now power has given him the licence to give full vent to his hatred which in fact is rather out of place in our society, since few follow caste-enjoined practices and further, law has made caste irrelevant, though politics have made it all the more "relevant". We pray for Mu Ka to shed his hatred at his late age, in his own interest for the after-life, so to say, as he has been made unhappy by hatreds on his own choosing.

My point is that Mu Ka did not pursue either a hereditary line of occupation, nor instead, pursue say a professional education like say engineer or doctor, in which accordig to his notions of self respect, he would have been happy. He chose politics as the last resort, and like Hitler, exploting unemployment of youth of his days, misused his oratorical power to provoke caste feelings especially against Brahmins as a community.

Thiru Mu Ka's hatred for Brahmins is pathological, too deep rooted. It started in his childhood and grew to full bloom during his late teens. The inspiration was EV Ramaswami, truly a disgruntled politician. Thiru Mu Ka would have been a piper (Nadaswaram vidwan), in which profession, with dint of hard work, he could have become a famous man, like say TN Rajarathinam Pillai.
