  • How many people know that Carlos Santana is Mexican-American, probably a lot. How many people know this song was written by Tito Puente, a New Yorker whose parents were from Puerto Rico? Somebody go tell Joe Arpiao .

  • I smoke marijuana to this song

  • Were doing this for marching band its awesome...I love the trumpet and trombone parts

  • Santana did not originally sing this it was tito puente in 1963

  • it is oye como va mi ritmo bueno pa gozar bonita

  • @rokitgurl

No: definitely 'mulata', not 'bonita'. Watch Tito Puente sing it on YouTube. He wrote it way back.

[Oops did I post this twice??]

  • @bryoman1

Tito Puente was Cuban, and of course millions of Cubans are of mixed Hispanic and African background, so, you're right, it must be mulata

  • @Callmelennie Tito Puente was Puerto Rican

  • @sotodnl

Ha! So he is. But I'm still talking only halfway out my ass; seeing as there is significant mixing of whites, blacks and Amerindians native to the Caribbean isles. He still hails from a place where there are a hell of a lot of mulatas

  • @Callmelennie ah, this is very true

  • This makes me want to play bongos in the nude.

  • I LOVE THIS SONG!

  • the real lyrics are:

Oye como va , mi ritmo

    Bueno pago zar , mulata

    (and repeat)

    just a little advice :)

  • @homedogkiller10 Um. No. The second line is "Bueno pa' gozar, mulata". Pa' is short for para.

  • @piercethevale carlos santana

  • ko je komiran....Milinko! hahahhah xD

  • @LepiCale95 ko je Milinko :D?

  • Some burgers, some beers, a few laughs. Our fucking troubles are over dude.

  • @piercethevale It was written entirely (music and lyrics) by Tito Puente in 1963. It´s just a cover version.

  • I think this song is in gta vice city

  • This song was played in "Knight Rider" episode 'Blind Spot'.

  • One of the best songs ever recorded. And who gives a f*ck about the visuals? We don't need MTV to augment this - it stands on its own.

  • @MattTheBrain96 i do not give a flying fuck!

  • @GERAEffectsTutorials Carlos Santana was born in Mexico but when young he crossed the border to USA like millions have done. He started playing blues and Latin Jazz in San Francisco when young and became famous after Woodstock Festival in 1969. This song is originally from Tito Puente Orquestra from Puerto Rico and NYC. Tito was the arranger of this album and is on percussion you hear on all that album that made Santana famous all over the world. Santana is famous for not playing Mexican
