robin pecknold said in an interview that thier newest album will be way more melodic and slower he said that in thier first album when he sitened to it he never got a chance to breath it was way to fast.

I wonder if this song and textbook love are examples of what their sound will be like on their next album. The earthiness of their debut was primarily becuase the singer went on a long camping trip and got inspired. Maybe this song is something they could write more consistently.

Yes, Fleet Foxes are American, as are Band of Horses, My Morning Jacket, Sea Wolf, Grizzly Bear, Yeasayer, etc. We are contributing a lot of great music and great bands to the world. @aspaceusername There are some great bands that come from the U.S... the legendary Aerosmith came from Boston. Nirvana came from Seattle, I'm pretty sure the White Stripes are from Michigan. Just to name a few.
