why did they say hard to starbard, when in fact they hit the iceburg on the right side of the ship? shouldnt they have said hard to port, and not starbard???
@vwbusssesareforever Back then, when you gave the order "Hard To Starboard", it would mean turn the ship to the left. They went by tiller orders. when u turn the rudder to the right on small little boats, you go left. When u turn it to the left, you go right.
@welme23 sadly no, I've been looking for a copy of it on dvd everywhere..but can never find it, it was a doco about the titanic made by james cameron a few years ago.
