Okay, this is something I've always wondered: how the HELL did they manage to film that movie on site like that? With all those other people walking around and watching (some of them would probably scream on purpose or something) and the traffic and so on. How did they filter out all the sound?

It must have been an absolute nightmare to shoot! Bravo to the patience of the filmmakers

I did not think so at all it left me cold. But Mr Big is cold and passionless, he is all words and no action. I cant believe he did not come and find her in Mexico. All those letters and no action, what kind of man is he, not my type at all. The film needed a red hot man in it with all those woman and throughout the film I felt quite depressed that woman over a certain age would have to get excited about such a weak man. well said! and for anybody reading, this particular shot isn't what made it into the final cut - Big actually comes out of the car for the flower flogging. I guess the director thought he looked like more of a wuss if he stayed inside the whole time. Also, Carrie going ballistic with him facing her fully shows her as being more courageous [and pissed!], and at the same time puts Big in a classier light than if he cowered in the car the whole time... imho

I mostly think the whole premise for this movie is going to kill me--I adore sex and the city, and I adore Season Six--you can't top of something like that, especially when you've taken your characters to their right places.

If Carrie DOES take him back, I'm not sure I'll have any respect for her at all. And then, what does that say? That independent women will ultimately end up alone, or, in the apparent case of Miranda and Steve, cheated on? Not good, HBO.

From what I have seen of the official trailer by New Line Cinema, I'm thinking that Big gets mad that the wedding had gotten too "big" and that he stands Carrie up at the altar, but he probably makes up with her later on and they elope together. Although, I've heard rumors that the SATC movie will be a trilogy, so maybe they get married in Part 2. In any case, I can't wait for this to open in theaters! The girls are back in town!!
