Sweet dude, I just got a Oreck XL professional 14t, Love it. But it is based on a sebo design. Great vacumm. Also in terms of toilets, Stay clear of flushmate models, I am in the process of having a complete new 503 series tank sent to me cause it split with a stress crack at the flange. BTW, That 59 cadet you got is a beaut!

My Cadet is my favorite toilet in the whole wide world, nothing else is like it or even close, it flushes like absolutely none other. I don't really like Oreck vacuums... At least the traditional Oreck's, way overrated and don't pick up shit! We had an Oreck forever last place it was used at was my mom's store on the rugs and when I got my Sanitaire it was amazing how much shit it picked up in comparison. After using the Oreck the rugs still looked terrible. Sanitaire made them look very clean.

I also have a sanitaire, s782. Great little reliable vacumm, Louder than my oreck however my oreck 14t is not like regular orec ks, This baby is very strong and quiet and picks up great with lots of features. I use my sanitaire for lite duty and my xl as a show piece and for whole house cleanings. Its just that beautiful. Anyhooo, thanks gusherb94, you just convinced me to buy the Sanitaire. Its by Eureka, right? My current Eureka vacuum SUCKS!

absolutley not, lookup the 1.6 gallon per flush 1994 mandate, New toilets that flush with only 1.6 gallons flush light years better then the old 1994 to all the way to I will say 1999 onward tolets, The older toilets which used 3.5 gallons or more were changed by government mandate overnight used to never get cloged. Virtually manufactures simply reduced water in the tank and no fluid dynamic bowl adjustments at all. Only recently has alot of research been done to improve upon the 1.6 design.

Most of our carpet's gone so the dog's usually make there messes on the hardwood, so we don't have a carpet cleaner.

I have a Standard Poodle but hair-wise he doesn't count as Poodles don't shed. My dog that does do all the shedding is my Rottweiler-Lab mix.

Yeah that's cuz it's not a very stable design and the slightest change in conditions and the way it's pushed will make the brushroll bog down easily. Honestly I hate the Dirt Devil...

I just got another Sanitaire today! I chose a lightweight model from the blue line, it's the model S634. I love how smoothly it runs across the floor, it doesn't take anything to push it...
