Aww.... I hate seeing tigers in small, enclosed zoo exhibits. I wish people could actually let them live free in the wilderness... at least it is protected and safe there. :(

@ClayLPlay I'm not sure what you mean - the enclosure is actually a lot bigger than the video shows. That and it's much safer for a tiger in a zoo than it ever could be for them in the wild - due completely to the fact that it's natural habitat is rife with poachers looking to make money off his parts. It's SAD that he can't be in the wild - but it's not more safe there.

@toisaalta Captivating means enthrall or enchant. I assume you mean "putting them in captivity", in which case I would respond with, if we didnt keep them in captivity the species would soon die out.

@snailzillascreator That should be done by making the living space (where we put them) to resemble their natural environment. For example tigers need a really big area to live, and also every wild animal needs stimulus. We should not put them into little cages in zoos where they do not have much to do, no way to do the things their senses tell them to do (e.g. hunting). And how weird life they must experience with all the hundreds, if not thousands of people around them, but out of reach, daily.

I know some students in my English class you went through the entire class without reading it. Its hard to believe for me to not get mezmerized by the fine work of Yann Martel. That and half the class got confused with the ending, giving the reader the choice to decide which story actually occured lmao whats so hard to understand lol

@TheKittenSparks Its rather dry yeastless factuality or the better story, you have to choose one, you can't stay in the middle because like he said, "Choosing doubt as a philosophy of life is akin to choosing immobility as a means of transportation." Pi had to make a decision to stay on the island or leave, therefore leaving the state of 'doubt' choosing 'the better story' ^_^

Cats like dogs vocal level is dependant on there size. Look at small sized dogs, when they bark its at a very high pitch, bigger dogs its more lower pitch. It is the same with cats. That tiger was indeed meowing, just at a very low pitch... ;-)
