I notice you playing around with the tone control... The one I just received has a tone control that has very little change 90% of it's range. until it goes very muddy. Makes a nice wah wah but fortunately I have a new Fender TBX tone contoll sitting here unused.
Yeah, the "sweet spot" of tone controle is rather small, it changes interestingly the sound on about 20% of its range, and the "tone at zero" is rather murky.
Well I dropped in that TBX control and it has much better sound. Less Murky at the bottom end. Not so harsh on the top. But still not like the one in my Fender. The wiring in this guitar is pure crap and that could be the problem. Maybe a rewire somewhere down the line.
I'm thinking of getting the Keef version with the humbucker in the neck position. HOw is the neck, is it like a Tele? Also, how was the setup? Looks like a great axe.

A good guitar player doesn't need an over priced name brand axe. And many of us don't give a crap what it says on the guitar but care more about how it feels.
If Xaviere sold any wide-neck guitars... I'd buy a few of them to mod. Until then, I'll be rolling with Agile.

Set up was OK, neck is quite nice, although in a "wider/flatter" manner than the classic tele neck.
