@Segasarge He switches between his weapon slots continuously. This effectively let's him fire the crush gun twice.

Contra is awesome, definitely above average in the difficulty stakes, but its none stop action, great music and level design make you want to keep trying and complete it! Great memories!

The levels in contra 3 are hard to catagorize. This level, level four, and level six are tied but the music on this stage is kickass none the less!

This was my fav stage in the game too. The music set a nice mood plys the whole dark polluted black city backdrop with the sky and clouds/smoke. Creates a strange emotion.

Great video. This is easily my favorite stage in the game, hands down. And yes, the music is just great, my favorite Contra song ever. I am surprised no one has ever redone it, it really lends itself to be remade. I hope my prayer is answered some day.

Not only was this one of the best stages ever in a sidescroller, it had one of the best boss fights. The dramatic entrance of the boss with the awesome music, and then the design of the fight itself which was clever.

this level got me because you get to see what the aliens did to your planet, which was make it into a factory for thier armies. Also level four for its quick action fighting!

This was my favorite stage i only hated the boss that you fight when your hanging on the railing that keeps spinning because sometimes after i kill it when it goes down i always get carried down with it. My fav weapon would be the homing weapon and spread gun
