  • Un'esecuzione molto piacevole ... le mie orecchie ringraziano .

  • is this a Viscount Prestige 50 ?

  • @McBomi No, this is a Viscount Prestige I.

  • Great playing. Your tempo was very appropriate for the room. I am glad to hear an organist who plays to the room and not just fast. I have to say, I am rather impressed with the Viscount. I have never played one. Once the organ is restored, I hope you post some playing on the pipe organ.

  • I really enjoyed your playing despite it's a Viscount it actually was very convincing. And Urbino Cathedral from what I could see simply looks magnificent with it's cavernous acoustic.

  • Thank you very much.

Luckly, now the pipe organ of the Cathedral is working again. But the Viscount consolle is still there... However, the acoustic is really "cavernous", you have to see the church: it's very, very large!!

    Regards.

  • I like your performance. I think the tempo is great for the reverberant room. You gave time for the sound to decay. I am rather impressed with this Viscount.

  • Liked your performance but the organ really is quite awful! Viscount makes such cheap instruments that its almost a sin to play Vierne on that piece of junk!

  • how does this sound bad. not at all. viscount makes great organs and any organist will say that viscount is just as good as allen and better than rodgers.

  • I agree with you. Obvious that a real pipe organ it's a better instrument, but in my zone it's very hard to find a beautiful REAL organ... In that concert, for example, the pipe organ was under restoring. So I had to use the Viscount organ. But the church acoustic masked the "electronic" sounds!

  • Maybe in big churches Viscount Organs sound convincing. In a small church like mine, its simply horrible.

  • I prefer it faster!

  • Thanks! I like it very much :-))

  • Hi! Brilliant! This organ doesn't sound electronic at all - is it a digital/pipe combination? Does the pipe organ include a Pyramid de Ripieno?

This piece is just sublime and the acoustic of the Basilica here is so wonderful to hear... I heard Hugh Potton perform it entirely from memory a few weeks ago. Thanks for posting your clip and look forward to hearing more!

  • Thank you! This organ was born like a pipe instrument, with only real stops. But now, with the Viscount consolle, is becomed a digital/pipe combination, but when I played my concert the pipe section was under restoring. So in this recording you can hear only the electronic organ. But you're right, this organ doesn't sounds electronic at all. And the acoustic of the Urbino Cathedral is very supporting... (sorry for my simple english!). Please, if you want, send a comment on my other videos! HI!!!
