  • @Rickyrab yes the miner's dance because as you can see that the movement from beginning to the end represent the movement of a miner dig the soil, throw the rock and push the carriage.. and it's so much fun to dance the Tanko bushi ondo..

  • I love this song! I grew up going to Bon Odori parties and this Tanko Bushi is part of my biography.Brazil also has great Bon odori parties.I LOVE IT.Can you tell me where I can buy this song?I don't even know how to look for it.

  • you learned tanko bushi in PE?!? that is seriously awesome. i go to school in the suburbs of Chicago, and nothing like this would every come up in PE...then again, there's a minuscule Japanese population here. you're lucky
