  • Goeie review ! Hier was ik juist naar op zoek.

    Groet van koffiefreak

    Hamont

  • Good vid

  • Hi uncle / nonkel - I'm an urban explorer so often I find myself in old abandoned buildings / cellars with little to no light. First I need a strong light to make navigation in these environments easier and my camera has a difficult time to focus in almost absolute darkness. Would this LED lamp be sufficient enough to navigate in such conditions? I currently have small led lenser and the light density fall-off is too short which leaves the end of the room in darkness.

  • I paid 70€ for T7 model last year. I mainly bought Led Lenser for my bike and is incredible. I was stunned when i first saw that power on bike. I am using 4 AAA 1.2V NI-MH 1100mAH batteries for around 4 hours of usable light.

  • Hi nonkel roge. Just wanted to say, this is a very good review and you speak great English for a second language. I just bought a P7, after watching this.

  • Just ordered one of these from here:

    amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0018O7UAA?ie=UTF8&tag=jdb01-21&linkCode=as2&camp=1634&creative=19450&creativeASIN=B0018O7UAA

    Cheers for the review :)

  • Great review. Thanks for posting.

  • Thanks for the review, I just paid $33-00 from ELECTRONICKING ON EBAY, and had the torch in my hands with in a week, and what a fantastic torch this is too, in Adelaide, they want $144-00 for these.

  • Thank you for a great review. I just bought myself a P7 from Amazon :)

  • Good review man, just picked one up this lunchtime for night shooting. cant wait till it gets dark to test it out

  • thanks for the review

  • Great reviews

  • Thanks for the review

  • Thanks Nonkel. Really helpful.

  • Great review!

I just bought a Led Lenser V6-6 Chips today and never even heard of it until today and I will say this it is very bright the best light I ever had, thinking about getting the P17.

In the U.S. I paid $48.00 for the V6-6Chip and they show $109.00 for the P17

    Thanks for the review!

  • what is burn time on low setting?

  • Hey nice review. Which of the two torches do you prefer, this one or the 'Police' one by Lenser? where abouts in Belgium are you by the way? I used to live in Leuven for a while, back when i worked in Brussells.

  • very nice torch i also got it BUT im sorry to tell you you've got the old version of this torch the new torch got's up to 200 lumens you're torch's got only 170 lumens although your version is a little bit more (sorry but i don't know the english opposit of thin.) thanks for the video!

  • @jamal100mustafa the opposite of "thin" is "thick" :)

  • Thanks great advice - helped alot!!!

  • nice review mate, looking at getting this one for my duty belt

  • 1.5 hours runtime and £10 for a set of batteries that you can only buy in specialist shops, NO THANK-YOU.

  • Very informative review Nonkel, thank you!

I ordered one of these a couple of days ago and am looking forward to testing it out!

  • I got one of these today - one word: STUNNING. It is like having a floodlight in the palm of your hands. I didn't intend on spending £54 on a tourch but it was well worth it; the price also included the tiny P3

  • Great Vid dude! I think i buy one today! I need it for Walking in the forest at night...

  • Good review, I have one on the way. £36 on Ebay.

It doesnt seem big at all, torches used to be much bigger, especially with this sort of output (200 Lumens)

    Cheers

  • Big thx Nonkel for ur review, it rly helped me :)

    Nicely done too.

  • nice review

  • Great review! I went and bought a P7 today :) really is the best torch I've ever had!

  • Comment removed

  • I've ordered my p7 today for ~ 40€.

Your review is great (both parts!)

  • These reviews were very GOOD and simple.

All reviews should be like these parts..

    VERY GOOD WORK

  • Lovely review, both parts!

What i would have liked is for their P14 (4 x AA) battery design to be the same as this one (p7). ie, 4 batteries all parallel to each other, not 2 x 2 parallel, that way the torch can still remain relatively short (albeit, a little wider)

  • The 4 tripple a's make it alot bigger than I thought... I have the LED Lenser three tripple a's and its great, I keep it in my pocket, but there is no focus no dim mode which I like.

Do you know when the M7 Comes out?

    I want it.

  • I love your reviews, I think I may buy the one similar to this one it is called the T7. Thank you Nonkel!

  • looks like a very high quality light. I'm looking on ebay for one.

  • great review man. i've been shopping around for a good light after using a friend's surefire defender. i love the way the battery compartment is made, and the gold-plating for the contacts is excellent engineering. i think you've made a believer out of me!

  • surefire is also a good light man. I haven't found anyone dissapointed about this P7 as well. This weekend took it to Germany. It prooved usefull again.

  • cool. ideally, i would like to have one torch/hid, such as the led lenser x21or wolf eyes mini boxer, one hand held high output LED (like this one) and one keychain as a backup/last resort. one for each type of duty.

  • if you want a keychain look at the led lenser range of keychains, i have one and it is brighter than my old torch (i bought a P7 a few weeks ago after testing it in a shop and couldn't belive how strong it was)

  • hey nokel have you checked out the Fenix L2D

I want to know what you think about it

  • hi man. I don't own any feni lights at the moment,; but still currious about them. I'm only sceptical that they are made in China. I like the 10 year warranty on the LL ones though. :)

  • @nonkelroge fenix TK12 is one of the best we use it in Afghanistan..

  • @nonkelroge

If i'm right, LL have one factory in Germany, and one in China, so they can be china made.

I have had one broken Fenix light (The switch) and got it replaced within a week.

I have had 3 LL that became broken.

If you want a USA, Germany or something owned company, try out 4Sevens or Zebralight. Brighter and smaller than LL's products.

  • @MatHahogg 4sevens is made in China too ;)

  • @kongso12

    Yes, i know that!

I was talking about American og German OWNED, not that it's made there.

Zebralight is made in China too, btw..

  • @nonkelroge

I own a Fenix L20D, they are excellent. with only 2AA, u get almost the same lm, and its pretty thin/light, sits tight with a headband, which is very useful whlile hiking, u dont need to hold to get max power....

I thought Led Lenser is made in China too, it writes Germany on it, but not Made in Germany, so I doubt....

  • Also, this light can be used to send S.O.S. messages in an emergency (or other morse code, if you know it) with the momentary on switch. With the long range, the light should easily reach an aircraft or ship to rescue you in an emergency. I can't stop talking about this light, and my friends are in awe when I light up every street sign for 4 city blocks on the spot focus high output setting. Nothing else compares to this pocket light, unless you want to spend more on batteries than the light.

  • I agree man. I know that alot of lights are made ultra small and "futuristic" to get the WOW affect. But you know I'd rather have something bigger that will eat inexpensive batteries and last long. By the way that 10 year warranty is also quite cool :)

  • Good review.

I have one of these too.

    104 Canadian dollars well spent.

The light is true white, not blue.

The video can't really do proper justice, I am sure it filters some of the brightness.

This light shines ultra bright, and gets long lasting use of AAA batteries, where any counterpart uses expensive lithium batteries, and has a fraction of the battery life of the P7. Best pocket sized light ever made, in my opinion.

  • It's a little blueish, but still pretty damn white to my opinion.

  • is that hot looking beam

  • Thanks man. I am still pretty damn happy with mine too. The summer festivals are coming up so this thing will be even more usefull indeed.

  • I've already ordered one of these and watching your review now only made me more confident that it's the right choice I made. Cheers!

  • awesome! do you know how many amps it's driven at?

  • I'm sorry man. This info would be also interesting to me as well. On the website of LL it says 170lummen chip and it eats 4x AAA batteries. They are usually 1250mAh each.

  • Nice job on parts 1 & 2

  • where did you bought???

    thx, nice review

  • Pellacraft ( UK ) on Ebay.

    Cheers man.

  • nice review mate...

  • nice review'
