    Hugs from Philly...

  • yo seeing this album cover brings back serious memories....real music

  • Once upon a time my wife and I tried to do it in the dark in Rock Creek Park, in a deserted parking lot down the ridge past the riding stable, and in about 45 seconds a Park Police cruiser came up behind my car and turned on the blinkin-lights, and warned us that we weren't allowed there after dark -- it was nice for me, as a local citizen, to know that they were so much on the job, but it sure was a buzzkill for the evening ;^P

  • @SupernalOne ...LISTEN I WAS IN THAT CRUISER AND I GOT SICK AND TIRED OF KICKING YOU-TWO OUT THE PARK,ITS WAS WAY PAST YOUR BEDTIME,I MEAN 8X IS MORE THAN ENOUGH,I WAS SURPRISE U CAN KEEP IT UP FOR 3 AND A HALF HOURS AN ON A SCHOOL NIGHT YOU WAS ONLY 12YRS OLD..NOW MY PARTNER PUT THE LIGHTS ON BECAUSE HE CANT REALLY SEE BECAUSE HE 82 REFUSES TO RETIRE BUT WE SHOULD HAVE HAUL YOU INTO JUVENILE DETENTION 4 BEING IN THE PARK SO LATE WITH THAT FAT 32YR OLD LADY THAT LOOKS LIKE YOUR SOCCER COACH BOB

  • @SupernalOne Do that today! and you won't see a cop anywhere ! LOL!~just thugs ! Dam ! shit done changed!~I got caught like that in B-more, Druidhill Park~~ back then we called it lovers lane, Dark as Hell~~ I pushed front seat all the way up! we slipped in to the back seat!` pants coming off~~all of sudden this Bright Ass light! I thought we were about to have a close encounter with ET ! LOL! jumped out the car pulled my pants up,got up front face pressed to windshield drove OFF!~LOL!~!

  • @tedkay

hee hee! yes, it's more difficult than one might think, in an urban area, to find a quiet lover's lane - though I got lucky a few times leaving the car and spreading a blanket in the woods nearby - you know, I never thought of it before, but women are looking over the guy's shoulder, and it's better if they have something pretty to look at, like treetops - either that or just get stoned as hell before getting into it :)

    Party on buddy!

  • thx 4 tha post bro. have'nt heard this classic in a while....! Brings bac a lot of memories..LOL

    Respect!!!

  • Man this tune reminds me of the block partys back in the day in n.y.c. My uncle would jam this in the basement as his friends would play instruments in the back ground. Were did the joy of life & music go. It doesnt exist in todays society & it shows. The music sucks just as life of today no jobs, no social security, the cancer of cut throat is in the air & its thick,no unity, Marvin Gaye your tunes are hitting home more today than back in the 70's. If i could go back to the 70's i would ASAP!

  • @port2344chester Bboy much? lol

  • @trmble6 Hell yeah! LOL

  • @port2344chester haha thats fuckin tight! Stay up brotha!

  • @trmble6 But of course bru...with tunes like this i couldnt fall down if i wanted 2 & if so im back up grovin & movin...how can one not move too such a FUNKTASTIC TRAX!!!

  • @port2344chester Me too

  • @LEGSUDESIRE This is in the top 10 old school block party joints..when this trax hit the airwaves...all from the streets hit the LOTTERY & that LOTTERY is the LOTTERY of soul...jazz funk....either u have it or u dont. Cant purchase soul it comes from within. Im lost w.o. my music....its my SANCUTARY!

  • @port2344chester To me the 70's had it all muzik, fashion, women, cars. Nowadays muzik aint shit. Totally agree with you.

  • @ThaKingofCo Its so sad that the music industry will soon be just like the avg working class.... watered down... no jobs & looking back @ what once was.... the music industry is focused on greed..not producing quality music. It will come back too bite them!!

  • @port2344chester soon be?

  • @port2344chester "will come back" -- uhh what year is it again? didn't that already happen?

  • @port2344chester

  • @ferwoods53 Yes my youtube friend..its gr8 to hear from old school heads like yourself...& of course i recall the FatBack Band.... that joint & many others from that SMOKIN crew... ahhh nothing tops the drive & vision from the 70's.

  • @port2344chester

I agree with you 100% nothing like the old school.......

  • @jessetrujillo Aint that the truth.. nice to hear/see that others like yourself feel the vibe like myself... ENJOY!

  • @port2344chester There's a theory called 'grid-group'. It says there are 4 voices: Hierarchy, Individual, Egalitarian, Fatalistic. All four are necessary for the good life. What we got is the 'conservative revolution' which is mostly Hierarchy and Individualism. That's the reason for the shit you identify so correctly. I'm hoping your good president can sustain the egalitarian voice. I'm a Brit. but he'd have my vote. And of course any Funk Party.

  • @SteffanLlwyd Thanks for the share mate!

  • @port2344chester Hey Port2344Chester, I remember going all of the clubs in NYC like Nemo's, Nel Gwen

  • @schmatever Send me some links my ears are opened & by the way i am a PARENT ALREADY..little bit of my Dad & Mom... if not for my parents music with paved the road for my generation i would be lost..im not giving up... just been a while since i really heard some genuine tunes w.o. sampling...sampling is a part of music.. but 2days sound has gone way too far IMO...FINGER TAPPING ON TEMPLE...I'll be waiting..Peace..Port!
