god i love the sound of a real skin head, i have a remo synthetic head djembe and it sorta sounds like im playing a basketball :/ i allso have a toca goat skin djembe and i like that one alot more :) and im really i diggin the beat by the way, keep jammin dude

To be fair, lokking at the mali weave, you'd probably best to detune it, pull the vertical ropes through a bit before reweaving it. What skin is it? like the hair!!
