In the press conference after he won at Michigan last Sunday Junior was asked about this race. said that it was one of his favorites and that he was still mad at Rusty for pushing his dad by him. He also talked about watching it on youtube and having the youtube clip bookmarked and this is only copy so that means he is watching this clip/

what an awesome finish this was! Could it have been any closer?? Sadly, we'll never see father and son race together again and for some of the comments posted below...Junior is better off at HMS. The Michigan win yesterday(June 15, 08) only proves that Junior is where he needs to be and is appreciated for the driver and person that he is!! No more family conflicts to deal with ! Too bad IROC is no more cuz this was better than some of the Cup races!

IROC is "International Race Of Champions". Drivers from all different types of racing compete in identically prepared cars. The series was usualy 4-6 races during the NASCAR season at a variety of tracks including a few road courses. Some of the best racing ever. Sadly, as 3fan said, IROC is no more :(

To perrybdk03: Teresa is not wicked. Dale Sr. left the business in her hands. There are two sides to every story. She raised Dale Jr. and he loves her because he said recently she is not to blame for anything and is a fine lady.

She doesn't know how to run a race team. He's doing much better with a team that has dependable equipment this year, so he's definitely better off without her. That was obvious. Dale Jr. could do a better job running the team than her. If she had some brains, she would've let Jr. buy into the team like he wanted to do, because they would've been better off. But to each their own, let's just leave it at that. I'm glad to see him getting the results now with engines that last the entire race

This is by far my favorite finish in any race..the Earnhardts finish 1st and 2nd!!!!! My second favorite finish is Earnhardt Sr. last win at Talladega where he went from 17th to 1st in the final four laps.

to be 100 percent honest... i think dale sr made this a photo finish on purpose..which is awesome. Dale Jr had a very minimal amount of gainage on Sr when he GOES TO MAKE THE PASS. Oh yeah he had a hell of arun goin into three (no sarcasm) but he backed off then all of a sudden came back on Sr.? No way. Senior crafted this, and I love it.

DW not only in the booth. Contrary to the impression left by the "3" movie, DW loved Earnhardt in latter years. In one of these IROC races, he said, "The cream always rises to the top," meaning Dale Sr.
