  • @highhorsefilms - indeed! I do miss the old Bushranger. Swanky wine bars just don't do it for me.

  • well swill and jon are my uncles lol

  • Swill used to play in a band called catch 22 they used to practise in a church in Netley, Southampton

  • and you are,?i played drum`s when keith

not avaliable AND it`s netley abbey

    THE FELLA`S DID GRAND

  • Five Bells, Northampton in 1980's ... great gig, great band ... fecking brilliant to find this whistle test video !!!

  • Excuse me - but I am a freelance writer for a newspaper in Arkansas, and where you singing of the Dover Lights legend found in Arkansas when you wrote the lyrics to your song? If yes, how did that come to be with you living in the UK?

  • Paul Simmonds' notes to "Dover Lights" are as follows:

"This was more or less written on the Calais to Dover ferry (I had a thing about ferries...) on our way back from a long tour and feeling homesick as always. The ferry bar was full of football hooligans returning from an away game and terrorising the entire ship."

So the answer in short would be: no, nothing to do with Arkansas, sorry.
