  • Why do you sound like you're suppressing a huge turd while you're taping?

  • Im sorry, I just dont get this. What is the point of this video? If I was investigating a possible break in, I would be paying more attention to finding a bad guy, not narrating and video taping. All he is doing is giving his position away with the noise he is making. Nice house though.

  • This guy lives alone? What a shock.

  • @aquaphone

Well I hope you don't call a veteran a virgin because

    1. He was about to marry someone (look at uploader comments)

    2. That's disrespectful...

  • @loliamapie No, I'm sure he's not a virgin. Didn't mean any disrespect. More like I was commenting that if this video is real, what he's doing is a super bad idea, and would freak out anyone who lived with him. It's a great way for him to shoot someone by mistake, and if there actually was an intruder in his house, it's a great way for him to get shot. The guy must have PTSD if the video is real. So no, I guess I shouldn't make fun of him because I certainly didn't go through what he did.

  • Amen brother Semper Fi

  • Are you paranoid?

  • Why do they have to say deranged vietnam vet mean. all of them sicko's are deranged. al the did was kill babies, smoke dope and rape all of the women.

  • @stlhooiser you'e an idiot... you ought to be grateful that they had the balls to serve their country. but you'll never understand what they go through because you're just a pussy who likes to criticize. show some respect.

  • As much as the video producer was bumping his gums and giving away his exact position at all times, any intruder who may have been armed would have probably killed him. When I used to do searches, I kept my mouth shut and ears wide open And yes, I am also a vet.

  • @DougDaCosta Good advice, and thanks for your service.

  • I always sleep with a smith&wesson .357 with hollow points next to my bed plus to speed loaders lets see some punk break into my house

  • beutiful house man, love the basement aswell!

  • nice ruger

  • it is a ghost. How do u shoot a ghost ?

  • Thanks for your service brother.

    Cpl, USMC

    1994-1998

  • i don't get the header line on this video......why is he a "crazed" vet. He seems pretty calm and logical to me

  • @inkey2 I think it's just to get more views. I for one am only on this page because I was under the impression there'd be some action.

BEFORE YOU GO TITS AT ME, I'M NOT BEING DISRESPECTFUL BY SAYING THAT, HERE : THANK YOU FOR BEING IN THE ARMY DURING A TIME OF WAR.

Still wish I'd seen a guy go nuts with a pistol rather than learning where he keeps it and what's worth stealing...

  • Great video. And thank you for your service to this country. That's a nice .45 you got there. How much was it?

  • This can't be real OP, likely a 'skit.' Focusing on making a video of your home while in persuit of an intruder is illogical given the immense distraction of pointing the camera.

  • beautiful view

  • thanks for your service men ,nice home by the way

  • He is not crazed!....He did a great job!

  • Ive searched my home with a gun before because I heard a noise but its not nearly as large as his and Ive never done it during daylight. Coincidentally, I also used to be an MP and Im heavly armed but I was in Iraq, not vietnam.

  • @Snipe4261 what military branch MP are you

  • @Prussian7789 I used to be in the Marine Corps.

  • @Snipe4261 oorah to you good sir

  • @potymouf

Bless your heart. We Viet Nam veterans need to hear that, we came back to hostility, ridicule and more. Thank you!

  • @Dartanion666 There are a few groups working on setting that right as best we can. Patriot Guard Riders and Warrior Watch. Look us up on the web. Thank you for your service and God bless from a fellow vet.

  • im half vietnamse

  • @allanthanhle

Are you an Amerasian? I was going to marry a beautiful half Vietnamese/ half French woman but the VC executed her in '68 for working for the US. It will always haunt me that I did not get back to her in time to take her home to the US.

  • if this is a real video, why is the safety on, on that gun through the whole video? the only time the safety goes off is when he shows us the weapon then he puts it back on safe. if it were me, safety would be off if i thought someone was in my house

  • @trippyhatesu

To ensure that one does not shoot the wrong person. The millisecond that it takes to flip off the safety, gives the shooter time to identify his target as a good or bad guy, before he shoots. Why not have the safety off with the weapon cocked and the hammer back? When you shoot someone, you shoot to kill. You better be damned sure he is a bad guy. I personally don't want to kill anyone, and I want the millisecond to identify my target before I take a life.

  • is that a ruger 45??

  • @Blk05titan26

Yup. Sure is a Blackhawk Ruger. It is equipped with laser sights, zeroed in at about 15'. Sweet hand gun, great stopping power.

  • @MRMAG357 - It isn't a Bersa it is a Ruger P345 in .45acp.

  • Ruger p345, nice weapon

  • Great veiw get some camers

  • Nice house.

  • condition 2 not 1 lol

  • @NMEGRAFFITII305 - What was the area where they had those riots a long time ago, Overtown? In any case, I have been to miami a few times. Some to be there, some just passing through to the keys. I live in Tampa, in a good area, but you never know.....

  • You live in a beautiful town.

I was going to be an MP, but I ended up signin on to be a 'gun-bunny.'

  • nice gun

  • You need to move to a state were home invaders don't have any rights.

  • I'm lucky. Florida passed a law a couple of years ago that gives the rights to the homeowners (where they belong!) instead of the burglars. So if someone breaks into my house, I can empty a 30 or 40 round magazine of .223 hollow points into him, and my only worry will be cleaning up the blood. ;-p

  • @SirReptitious yeah gerogia and texas too its called the castle law

  • @ChromeGhost0219

Same here. It was called "Your home is your castle" law I think. I dont know how many states have passed this kind of law, but those of us that live in them are certainly better off than those that dont, since we no longer have to worry about being sued by a criminal.

  • @SirReptitious oh yes

  • @SirReptitious

My kind of guy. No quarter given to a home invader. Utah is pretty vague on it's home invasion/burglary laws. But, if you pop someone in your home who does not belong there, you have time to adjust the crime scene to your advantage...if you know what I mean.

  • @Dartanion666 That's just how it USED to be here. You were supposed to attempt to escape your house before using any force. And you sure as hell better not have shot someone while they were outside your house, or shot them in the back, or YOU would be the one going to jail! Utah is a conservative state; I would think it should be pretty easy to pass a castle law bill there...

  • @cyanleopard yeah currently they want a state where home OWNERs have no rights

  • I never thought I would say this but I'm lucky to live in the south. If some one is in my home I can stamp there ticket no questions asked. Even are laws for protecting my self out side of my home is vary strong. GA is a castle state, were I stand is my castle and I don't have to back down to prove self defense.

  • usually all an intruder needs to hear is the cock of the owners gun to get the hell out of dodge

  • Yep, I hope that saying is true. I just recently bought an AR-15(I LOVE it, btw!), and I know that if *I* heard the charging handle of an AR-15 slamming into place and was a burglar, I'd shit my pants.

  • I like this guy. He has a nice house, too

  • Fire in the hole,, Team follow me,

    Hey i like this map

  • actually thats not condition one... the hammer is down, and for it to be "cocked and locked" as you describe the hammer would have to be back in the single action position... then again that is a decocker model i believe... so that would explain why you have the hammer down... common police training to carry it that way... thats a good way also, just known as condition 2 i believe.

  • I was thinking the same thing, condition one on a 1911 model is round in chamber with the hammer back.

  • This is really funny - it was like playing 'Doom' or 'Return To Castle Wolfenstein' on a computer when he has the gun in front of him in the view of the camera!! LOL! Was half expecting a mutant or a WWII German soldier to jump out on him!!!!

  • If you had a home invasion you would hvae known it before the cam came on! and the noises you are hearing is your mind slowing going insane. I am seeing it now with a family member. Slowly going Insane and hearing things and thinking everyone is after them. Meds wont help..

  • what you some kind of war vet?

  • wow man, you just made yourself sound like a giant cunt

  • Speak for yourself bra

  • lmao, man this looks like a video game or something.

  • how much can I buy I gun like that for?

Would you suggest anything bigger than a handgun for home protection? Maybe a shotty or a AK, maybe a M4

  • u can buy a decent pistol for 500 bux that would be sufficient for home invasion against 1 or 2 burglars. u can do better with a good riot configured shotgun costing about 600. ak/m4 is overkill dont need it. for shotgun 00buck is great for keeping people away.

  • @mikethebassguy - You can find riot shotguns a lot cheaper than that.. mossy 500 and rem 870 run about $350 here in CA. Personally I like my 1911 and have that as my main home defense weapon.

  • @mixwell1983 Yea I personally was basing my opinions off of more historical shotguns, Model 12, win 97. I used to keep my 97 with me (1957 police riot) but now i keep my cz 82 with hollow points, it conceals better and i feel less vulnerable with it (in regards to break ins while im not there)

  • @laythesmack23

I would love to own an MP-2 machine gun; short barrel, 50 round banana clip, but it takes a lot of crap to get one. Handguns are the best for home defense. Short barrel so you can swing if an intruder tries to jump you. It is suggested to have at least one firearm on each floor of your home, leading to your, "Alamo" or where you can be chased to, where you have multi weapons and plenty of ammo...and no way to get behind you.

  • @Dartanion666 Awesome video! "I wouldn't have any qualms at all at putting 7 into an intruder... none at all, no business being in my home." My thoughts EXACTLY! Thanks for the service.

  • @ImWatchinTheTube Why on earth would you shoot an intruder 7 times? That is horrible. 3-4 should take care of it and leave 3 more for any of their friends....lol

  • @guamsst Why would you do it? You and I wouldn't, that is reserved for the Totally Badass Group of Crazy Vietnam Vets, or TBGCVV for short. Members:1, this guy.

lol, I just mean that I support his right to defend himself and his home/property.

  • Maybe the noise that you heard was you talking to yourself.

  • LOL

  • I'm not sure why he decided to take a video recorder with him, but he sounds pretty calm and collected. He even calls for someone to announce themselves if they happen to be someone there for a legitamate reason. He acts like his house or garage has been burglarized before.

Someone tried to break into the place we were renting with my wife home alone. He ran off when she got the gun. Her dad taught her how to shoot when she was a teenager.

  • That is a very nice house, with a beautiful view.

  • Not quite condition 1. DA/SA isn't exactly cocked and locked. Get a better flashlight. Surefire G2 for like $30 won't light up everything forever, but it will light up everything for about an hour. Good for use in emergencies.

  • What quality of life is that, buy some peace of mind with all that money.

  • God knows you were up to your neck in human waste in Nam. You come home only to face a new enemy. If a piece of human waste, just as you fought in Nam, intrudes your home and you waste them, you're a hero! But sadly, just as the government didn't support you in Nam, they won't support you now, but would make the intruder look like the victim and litigate you to death and bring you up on constitutionally illegal chrages just as the federal government does daily. So please be deadly and silent sir

  • gee....thats a damn nice house

  • I'm not really diggin the 666 in your username...devil worshiper?

  • lol. If so who cares. No such thing as Satan or God...You must believe in dragons and wizards to believe that shit.

  • he prolly rides a centaur instead of a car.

  • May you live your pointless life in peace.

  • Lifes only pointless with people promising you that you'll live forever.

  • To you maybe.

  • People who invade your home and are justifiably killed by the homeowner who then disposes of the bodies and all evidence will be found to have NO rights in law whatsoever.

Just a point to ponder if you are worried about defending yourself to the max!

  • Is that "crazed"??

If it is, then I must be "crazed", too!

I do the exact same thing when I

hear a noise but without the video.

I like the video idea very much.

    Good thinking!

Thank you for your services, Sir!

  • That Looks Just like my Ruger p95 but bigger.

However i walk around my house with a gun too.

the reason? Well i day trade at home from Early morning till market close. And hear things.

I would not have one problem unloading a mag into an intruder either. If they are armed they might as well say there prayers..

  • it think its a ruger p85. because my dad's friend has one, and it looks just like that.

  • redcon1 is a round in the chamber locked and loaded but with the safety on

  • Wow... This guy may be a relative of ours! My husband is well known as the crazy ex-green beret in our neck of the woods. And let me tell you, our home is heavily guarded by 24/recorded video cameras around our entire land, and my husband who has a habit of riding on the back of bumpers while armed, when unknown citizens drive in our driveway... its hilarious! The best part is, he lurks in our woods, and you never know when you'll "run" into him....LOL

  • KnightsWhoSayNie:

Daylight is when MOST house robberies occur, the owner is at work. At night the robber knows the homeowner is at home and runs the risk of waking him up and getting his butt shot off.

  • I want to hear you use that line shanrennie when someone really does invade your home, rapes you at knife or gun point then kills you....you people live in a fantasy land. I would rather be prepared and not need a weapon then need it and not have it...oh do not worry the police will be there 5-30min after you call. It only takes a second for a criminal to decide if hes going to kill you.

  • Hey Shanrennie, the reason we ran you guys out of the colonies is that every home had guns in it. Had we not had the guns we would be your colony. Americans have had guns in their homes since the inception of our country. Your comparison of England to the US is flawed, read Ninjairuken's comment carefully, it is true.

  • Then how do you explain the fact that states with the strictest gun laws are the most violent?

  • @SuicideKing187 gun laws dont help at all gangs and crimanals get gun illegally mostly so it doesnt affect them, only people who may use the guns to defend themselves, therefore causing more violence

  • @SuicideKing187

Pretty basic logic. If no private citizen has a firearm, then only the criminal will have one...and they will use it. The reason those states are the most violent is because the private citizen is helpless to defend themselves. Think back to the 1800's when virtually every home had a firearm. It keeps the bad guys out, and violence down. If a bad guy sees an old lady sitting on a bus stop and he thinks she is unarmed she is going to be a victim, no so if he thinks she is armed.

  • Typical English person. Fix your own country and leave ours alone. I live in England in a small rural town. I am amazed at the crimes and stabbings in this town. Never mind across the UK. What would you do if someone broke in? Parliament would expect you to help the criminal carry out your goods then drop your knickers incase they want to rape you. Leaving yourself unprotected in a land that protects criminals and prosecutes victims is a crime waiting to happen. IF you know what that means.

  • @guamsst

    ZING!

  • @guamsst If you don't like our country then GTFO........ and shut your complaining

  • @marekc23 I'm sorry, I wasn't aware that a "complaining" was an object that can be shut. It's your own language, speak it properly. I did get out of your grubby little country and couldn't be happier.

  • @shanrennie @shanrennie You also have almost triple the violent crime we have here in the states. Just because it is not happening to you personally don't mean it is not happening at all. God forbid it does, you will surely see things differently. I would rather come home to a dead guy on the floor than my wife taking it in the ass.

Does that offend you? Tell it to the hundereds of people it happens to every day because they didn't have a means to protect themselves.

  • this man is not crazy. he has been through a lot and he knows exactly what he is doing.

  • maybe he is a bit crazy but thats what war does to you.

  • He has a video camera and a Ruger .45. Its not cocked and locked, its a double action/single action. Decent gun though.

  • You noticed that too huh. I was gonna say it's looks like it's in DA to me.

  • Yo Bulldogger71, you should read a bit more about guns before you comment. A Ruger .45 can have one in the chamber without having the hammer back. Mine was "condition one"...one in the chamber with the safety one. All ya gotta do it flip off the safety, and pull the trigger, the next round cocks the hammer back and it is ready to fire again as fast as you can pull the trigger. Appreciate your comment though...

  • No disrespect Dartanion666, but condition one refers to an single action semiauto pistol that is carried with the hammer cocked back, safety on, with a live round in the chamber. Guns such as the 1911, Browning HiPower and the CZ75 can be carried condition one. Your gun is a double action/ single action, carried in condition two (hammer down, safety on, with a live round in the chamber). Col. Jeff Cooper, the father of the Modern Technique of the Pistol coined these terms.

  • Cooper used most of these terms:

Condition Zero: round chambered, magazine in place, hammer cocked, safety off.

Condition One: round chambered, magazine in place, hammer cocked, safety on.

Condition Two: round chambered, magazine in place, hammer down.

This firearm condition system can be used to refer to other firearm actions, to note the differences between carry modes considered to be safe. For example, DA/SA is designed to be carried in Condition 2, which is not safe for 1911s.

  • good job my fellow nieghbor. we have your and my backs also!! ruger p 90.... ever seen desperado w/antonio banderas!! he carries 2 p-90s

  • my dad was a navy seal in the 1970's he was in a bunch of operations, it's not the same as Vietnam but you regardless of what war your in, if you kill enough people it makes you crazy. this guy even tho he is paranoid has my respect for defending my country

  • It looks like first person shoter.

Home defence level 5 the strange noise.

  • Paranoid.

  • Post this type of thing again when you wet someone.

  • lol he's video taping it, thats what makes it crazy.

  • Hey Jaleel, some intruders actually sue homeowners who defend themselves when they injure someone who is breaking into their home. I videoed the event to document what actually took place if something happened. Can't argue with a video.

  • What is crazed about him? He's protecting his home..

  • here in tenn someone comes in you can shot them im ready like you did 2 tours with the 11th cav

  • id shoot a burgalar if I was feeling threatend

  • I always carry, everywhere, right now I have a glock sitting arms reach by the screen.

  • Hey how it going I have been to Afghanistan and I am being forces to go again my SF application was turned down becuase my unit needs everyone they need it really pissed me off I am soo misrable and angry all the time I hate my platoon warent and want to kill him I am so fucked up he does not know shit about what goes on there and he trys to say I dont know shit

  • Hey man, those kind of insufferable pricks are the ones that can get you killed. We had a solution for them in 'Nam...we fragged them. We tossed a grenade near them during a fire fight just close enough to do a little damage. They generally got the message.

Hang in there buddy, remember that there are many, many guys like me who respect and admire you for your balls to serve in a combat zone.

Go kill some insurgents, it will make you feel better.

    Peace, my brother

  • I agree with you man. And besides, if a guy intrudes your home,he is a potential danger to you or your family's safety. I would have some bullets ready too.

  • my dad faught in vietnam aswell, i salute you. and fuck the gooks

  • Just cos this guy was in Vietnam doesnt mean he is immune from criticism dumbasses...Dartanion6666 if you post a stupid video, expect a stupid comment...and have fun shootin at shadows

  • Reegatron how fucking dare you, you ignorant prick. yeh i guess you have no idear.

  • shouldnt joke bout things such as these my uncles have warfits jump behind there couches and scream like theres motors incomin and shit

  • rename "how a crazed veteran gives a tour of his house"

  • wow. beautiful view! I also live alone in a two story house, can relate. except I never lock my back door entrance. I have a common drive with neighbors behind, keep an eye on things. I've thought of mounting a couple skulls, on the top front corners of the house just to entertain the neighborhoods kids in these sterile times. You know, mortar them in like in the b&w ghoul movies. hmmmm I still think it's a good idea...

  • if anyone did break in they might take the IBM Thinkpad. It's running linux w/ password protect so they wouldn't get any intrusion there. you're obviously real smart guy. you should look up Krishnamurti on google videeo search or you tube. great stuff. just a regular guy doing spiritual lecturing. no gimmicks. I liked his books before but the available video is good. more fun than hearing about the privately owned US Federal Reserve, source of inflation and debt money.

  • FYI there is two Krishnamurti's. Both are from India, one lived to be 80, the other 90. they both have video commentaries and speak English. The gentler Krishnamurti is more well known. The second one, U.G. has some sharp things to say! He's great, both of them. Unrelated, but two philosophers with same last name. Both of them avoided commercial trappings, i.e they do not exploit people ala Bagwan Rashneesh. (remember him, the Rolls Royce caravan guy in Oregon)

  • I am English and the thought of someone being able to keep a gun in their house gives me the creeps. especially if they shoot first and ask questions later!!!

  • Someone being in your home without your permission does NOT give you the creeps? By all means, lets let the intruder in, give him a cup of tea, let him tie me and my wife up, rape her, then kill me and rob my home. Those nasty, creepy guns!

  • God bless America or should I say God help America!

  • No, toi lamviet Viet Nam Quen Chan Mai. Toi lamviet Saigon mot nam chi chum sou muy bi. Toi cong tie bangi tun Co Em, low qua, toi eau Co Em ngeu lam. Sin loi!!

    Chow ohm.

  • wtf, respect to all the Vietnam vets, especially the ones who fought the battle of Ia Drang, but this video was deffinetly put on haha

  • Naww..not a put on. a photograph of one of my buddies who was killed in the Tet Offensive in 1968 made the cover Of Time Magazine. 3 others were ambushed a block away as they sped towards the US Embassy to fight the VC who had taken it over. No, that did not make the papers, but I was there, and I know it happened.

No hoax here brother, just don't want to be popped in my own house after surviving 13 months in combat in 'Nam, so I am a bit edgy.

  • dartanion...you should have just popped some smoke brother ! 1st. btl. 9th marines...later !

  • The sucker hit the trip-wire and rattled a can by my bed. I could have called in for air support but they were busy chasing traffic violators. Semper Fi my brother.

  • More like a put off....now let me lock myself up in my bedroom and hide under the bed. Check out the Walther P5, no safety, Dutch police, 9mm.

  • is a shame that you have to use such expletives as a crutch because you cannot speak the English language. My use of the colloquialistic idiom of, "Crazed Vet" is indigous to those who are demographically in their 50's. The venacular has nothing to do with meds. Go look up the meaning of these words stupid, and maybe you will learn how to speak English.

  • Idiot. Your local police never have their firearm cocked, it is too dangerous. They have the safety on, with their fingers off the trigger, along side if it, as they search for someone. The extra second it takes to take off the safety, and move their finger on the trigger, gives them time to makes sure of their target, and whether to use deadly force. No wonder your alone moron; you are rude, insulting and dumb. Showing your stupidity should embarrass you.

  • How'd he hold a flashlight, a camera and a .45 all at the same time?

  • His .45 was NOT cocked.

I live alone. I've got money. I'm a target. I post this on Youtube.

We know Einstein wasn't in HIS family tree.

  • lol

  • reminds me of my dad he was a vietnam vet

  • oookkkkkk...*sourface*

  • WHOA! I DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING!!!!
