@pandygal - Yoshikazu Mela (sometimes spelt Mera due to japanese pronunciation) is the singer. I know it sounds like a girl, but he is a countertenor which means he sings really high for males, on the same level as females. The composer is Joe Hisashi. The accompaniment is played by the Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Hiroshi Kumagai. Miyazaki wrote the lyrics himself. ~Hope this helps!
