  • This video sickened me slightly, but I feel that every baby should be taught this. Especially if you own a pool, or live near any sort of large body of water. Still, it sickened me.

  • SUCH a good video. I'm starting my 5 month old in swimming lessons for this EXACT reason. Both his grandmas have big, ungated pools and if anything ever happened, I'd hope he would know what to do!

Shame on all these ignorant people leaving bad comments, any child abuser wouldn't BOTHER teaching their baby to survive a fall into the pool.

    Very impressive!

  • jesusgod... this is terrifying

    it is a reflex...

thanks so much for posting... A+++ for you...

  • so happy at the end :D

  • you know that baby bit the shit out of his moms titties that night as pay back.

  • this video would have a billion views if you could teach a black baby how to swim.

  • This is the funniest thing on youtube

  • Omg this is sad and amazing at the same time!!

  • Babies are awesome!! I can't wait to have a mini me

  • @sama290 Why? the kid wasn't in danger, it didn't get hurt, it certainly didn't die. I don't see the problem, sure maybe it was distressed but don't babies get like that all the time anyway? There are worse things the parents can get away with doing to their kids.

  • In Soviet Russia, water swims in you !

  • holy. that baby swims better than I've ever swam in my life.

  • omg this can not be real if this is omg

  • You People Are Bad Parents..

Why Would You Guys Take A Video Of Your Child Screaming And Crying For Help??

  • @Jessie12430 he wasnt cryin 4 help he was whinin like any other baby it was supposed 2 b an educational video did u catch the part when his father walked out fully clothed then popped up in the pool wit swim trunks clearly he was there the whole time watch and learn it pays 2 pay attention

  • @Parvotakkun he did not fall in he jumped in and swam 2 the top clearly he has had sum sort of practice he was not left in the pool 2 die his father was there the whole time one min hes fully clothed the next min he has on swim trunks this was done on purpose

  • how about a big fence?

  • you are NOT parents you left the baby into water!!!!!!!

  • Aaaawww this almost made me cry.....

  • just put a gate around your pool.

  • like a boss

  • Good booooyyy he stayed afloat till his daddy came. So cute

  • @KungfooKids101 he was on the side of the pool out of the camera view...

  • he was sooooo cute that is sucha cute baby

  • Lmao but seriously guys... its a SURVIVAL video for babys to learn how to swim. its a example no need to get all butt hurt about it.

  • ...... I KEEL YOU.

  • WHO RECORDING THIS ........... CHILD ABUSE

  • @BubbleGum3449 -.-

  • @BubbleGum3449 Its not child abuse its saving the babys life if he eveer fell in. My parent did it to me because we have a pool in our back yard.

  • WERE R THE PARENTS

  • Building a fence around the pool would be a plus

  • Omg! I got very scared when the baby fell in! This is amazing. I'm glad I don't have a pool! Good job!

  • Impressive!. I have 2 children and one to be born next jan, and as any Father could tell you, this baby is not even crying!. He is just calling. Good for the baby, good for the parents. There's nothing better than to feel that you are protecting your childrens! Congratulations. Thumbs up!

  • if that kid was black he would have drowned

  • @ROBOOT103 Racist

  • what is this torture...

I beleive you, just get him oput of there ffs...

    Sick fucks.

  • @80lillou

When the children learn to swim and float, they stay in the pool for much longer than 5 minutes. The kid was actually playing.

  • I see this kid being a ginny pig in his future

  • navy seal !

  • those 121 dislikers wants the baby to die...

  • At first I got pissed I was like where the fuck are his parents who wouldn't search for their child after 2 secs of them being gone. Then I realized this baby is a thug and he actually started playing and listening to his own voice in the water which is unbelievable. Great vid

  • This is amazing teach them all

  • I don't like diz video it makes me cry and almost have a heart attck

  • Baby can learn to swim from when they are born becuase it's like the womb, I think it's better, they will never forget then

  • WOW! I have a 9 week old son, and as a new mother this video was a bit hard on my heart at first, BUT, i'm not complaining, in the end, it really shows you what can happen if you're child is taught to swim at an early age, and him smiling at the end like that made me feel WAY better. Kudos!!

  • this is the dumbest thing i have ever seen they didnt have to leave him in there for 5 minutes we coulda got the picture after 15 seconds

  • the baby can't manage one step yet he can swim. simply amazing

  • Fucking kill it!

  • I say if that baby drowns, the parents should drown too, that is sooooooo very sad!!!!!!! There is a reason babies can drown, if all babies do this, no baby would drown!!!!!!!

  • The baby must've been tired..

  • Babies already know how to swim, it's the parents who instill the fear of water due to over protection and fear. See as the man takes the baby out of the water at 2:39 and the smile on the babies face? It's priceless! I'm not uncomfortable with this whatsoever.

  • how many babies has survived?

  • Infants are amazing. One of many Gods creations. :-)

  • Get over your emotional whimpering.'the baby is in the pool too long, oh my its heart wrenching THE ONLY SAD THING IS A DEAD BABY.THE POINT OF THE VIDEO IS THE BABY COULD SURVIVE FOR FIVE MINUTES or more if it were to unfortunately fall in the pool while you weren't looking. If you are the one to say I ALWAYS WATCH MY BABY and this couldn't happen...WELL it just that kind of DENIAL that leads to DEAD BABIES Stop bellyaching and take the video for the good it was meant for........Sincerely Me

  • @AbsoluteDominion

The only sad thing isn't a dead baby. I think child abuse is pretty sad too.

  • This is really neat but I don't think I could allow my child to go any where near a pool without me. I almost cried when the baby called for his parents in despair.

  • THIS IS NOT FAKE...IM TIRED EXPLAINING IT WITH IDIOTS PEOPLE BANGIN HERE AS IF THEY KNOW WHAT THEY TALKIN ABOUT DUH!!!!

  • OMG!! that guy looks like Bob Harper! :O

  • baby fell!

  • dammit! it was fake!

  • PEOPLE THE VIDEO WAS FAKE PLEASE USE YOUR COMMON SENSE...THEY JUST WANTED TO GET A POINT ACROSS. THE POINT IS THE BABY CAN SURVIVE THAT LONG WHEN USING THE TECHNIQUE.

  • ok, you think that 5 minutes is too much. what if the kid falls in water accidentally? parents probably won't see them with less than 5 minutes.

  • Okay, just to reiterate, this IS a fake video, and the reality is that the kid probably wasn't in that pool without super vision AT ALL. this is to get the point across.

  • So hard to watch! Why leave him there for so long! 5 minutes was uncalled for!

  • okay, this is kinda freaky since i'm scared of babies dying....

  • nothing is wrong with the parent leaving their child for long...it goes to show you that if it actually happened and the parents are there for a period longer than 5 the baby would survive. It goes to show that it's good to teach your infants this cause u might never tell it could be an hour or more b4 ur realize that they were in the pool....think about it

  • I bet the baby was enjoying the sound of his voice while his ears were underwater lol.

  • Awesome that you taught your child this. Not so awesome that in your eagerness to prove how long he could do it, you totally ignored his crying for help.

  • yeah its amazing but TAKE YOUR FUCKING BABY OUT

  • They should have done this with Caylee Anthony

  • I need to teach my baby this...love the smile at the end!!!

  • are we in shits now?

  • I'm too scared when watching after 5minutes that baby keep on floating n the baby was crying.. -_- and wth at the end u give me a smile ?! D:<

  • This wasnt a hidden video recording, I assume. Im sure the baby was aware of the adults that were in the area. Infant or not who in their right mind would leave a child in a pool unattended and have a camera rolling? He just wanted to get out thats why he was crying out. I think the 5 minute lapse shows that they also teach the infant to float for a long period of time. This was for demonstration purposes not a malicious act smh.

  • I'd laugh if smebody put the pool cover on and forgot about the baby.

  • I don't understand why the baby had to do that for 5 minutes. I know s/he isn't drowning, but they are probably really scared!

  • poor baby

  • I feel like shit watching him sit there cry and then when he smiles I feel so much better

  • @ThaNamesRyan i feel the same way

  • that pool is fuckin dirty

  • Nice to know that there's training for this. For those people that b1tching about getting help, OmG!!! This baby is trained and of course the camera man and other will jump in if the baby is actually drowning. These people know what they are doing so stfu. This is good information.!

  • why would you leave your baby for like 10 whole mins while the parents were right there and jus happened to b in a bathing suit i thought it was supposed to look real if it was supposed to look real the dad would have jumped in to save it and it would kill me to see mi baby crying and i just have to sit and see it cry and be so desperate to get out

  • this is an ad video because babies wouldnt be able to understand how to swim by watching it

  • @santaclausiscomin no it show that baby are able to sim by temself so it not an ads vid

  • That is cool! I taught my barely three year old to swim. See her @3 year old swimming. Cool and awesome!

  • that is wacked....and awesome....but wacked...

  • I know this is an example video... But someone help the poor kid :(

  • wow ang galing ng baby..-:)

  • My heart wanted to stop when it fell in.

  • I agree with youngblaze1000... it will help thin out our population!

  • why did the guy wait five minutes and why did the camera man do nothing... i understand that knowing this can save children if nobody is there to help them, but there were people there... and that man left with out his child... bad parenting mister...

  • He was having fun at the endXD

  • I think everyone with a swimming pool should have to prove that there infant can perform this manuever!!! Two thumbs up

  • That is so cool though. x]

  • Why would someone record this?!

  • wird but good

  • i know its an example but someone please help the poor kid.

  • I wonder if they trained him to go out the door and in the pool too

  • is this for people that can also afford private pools?

  • 2:12 - that's baby talk for 'get me the fuck outta here!'

  • is it wrong to laugh

  • @SuperBlanquel you are right this is some sad stuf man and how is this getting recorded?!!!!!!!

  • Should've put a pool cover :) I thought the dog was going to save him

  • Should've put a pool cover :)

  • Rip-my eardrums 1999-2011

  • wow ! amazing! but we as parents have to learn how to swim too!!!

  • THAT FUCKIN DOG OPENED A DOOR!?!?!?!

  • Is he actually drowning?

  • who needs a babysitter?

  • the dog opened it retard

  • When does a baby now how to open a door that is 3x bigger than them

  • He swims better than me

  • Duh it's staged, dumb ass. It's a instructional video.

  • Now train it to shit outside.

  • The baby crying isnt because he is scared, he is trying to get someones attention. Thats why he started smiling as soon as he saw his dad. That is what he has been taught to do if in the water and he did it successfully

  • The whole thing is obviously staged. If you had a pool out your door , as a parent you would never be so unattentive. It was a video to show that if a child is taught how to survive in the water, then they can. My daughter has been going to lessons since she was 6 months old (she is now 3 and can swim short distances), my son since he was 9 months (now 15 months and can find the side of the pool and hold on). What they were showing you is not child abuse, it is an effective way of surviving

  • im worried if the baby will get bad memory

  • This is so amazing! These babies are trained so well! And why when the first baby got picked up he smiled like, "ha!ha! fooled ya!" Like he knew all along it was an act? How wonderful that babies can learn this I am so impressed!

  • This was very cute and the first baby, in the end it looked like he was all like like "Ill just go with the flow." xD

  • haha tehe

  • Y's da dad smiliin , his baby was bout to die ??? !!!

  • The baby smiled at the end with hes daddy at the screen lol..commercial baby

  • No its not abuse.. that could save that baby some day. Babies have the instinct to swim. When their afraid its only from the parents fear not their own.

  • Of course it's not child abuse!!! It's a valuable skill that all babies should learn. My 3 grandchildren all go to swimming lessons, both 2 yr olds can now swim a whole length of the pool and the 7 month old is confident going under the water and is learning to float on her back. They love it and are confident and happy in the water. No small children should ever be left unattended around water but accidents can happen and this can be the difference between life and death.

  • @dorabcoelho

    Cry more fag.

  • Daddy is hella cute.

  • Very informative video. And maybe this question is stupid but how would you avoid dry drowning? I'm just really confused by this. We have a 9 month old and we have decided to wait till now to take him to the pool and to the lakes.

  • ahhh cute little penguins

  • 1:52 I thought he was about to sink

  • @846286425 yea i though so too....... :)

  • The only part I am uncomfortable with is that the baby is left in the pool for that long. Over 5 minutes to shoot a video? I think this is a great thing to teach your infant, but that child in particular was calling his dad & didn't know how long he would be there. He didn't know this was just "practice". So I can see why people would say it's "child abuse". Very valuable technique, just kind of hard to watch.

  • @sonyafly Are you stupid? He was in there for fucking 1 minute. Did you even watch the entire video? Fucking pathetic pussy ass bitch.

  • that a smart baby \

  • This is an invaluable skill! I am going to be having children soon and I know that I want my children to be as safe as possible.

Babies are very comfortable in the water as it is (they spent roughly 9 months in it already) and considering that babies are born with the natural instinct to hold their breaths underwater, this isn't a difficult concept to teach a baby.

I think the baby is crying so that someone can come get him! He's not drowning, but if noone comes to get him out he WILL die.

  • THAT AMAZING :)

  • Looks pretty dead to me (apart from the crying).

  • he smiles!!!

  • LOL, first the baby looks like he's not liking it as use see him struggle and cry but then later on when the dad catches him, the dad and baby smiles but the baby smile's looked like it said "haha.. fooled you" lol..

  • the baby was like, alright I did what you told me, now take me the fuck out of here! ha

  • @mikeborja1 I wonder how long it took to inflate it.

  • hah! that baby was crying but as soon as the guy picked him up, he was smiling! He was faking LOLZ. And all this time I thought he was scared of the water. That's amazing. I didn't know toddlers can learn to swim.

  • beautiful smile at the end

  • I am astonished at how many people do not understand the value of this method!!! I have a pool, with a 1 and a 2 year old. I have a locking self closing gate, as well as a roughly $10,000 dollar automatic cover that you can walk on. My kids are starting their infant aquatics lessons today. It is not child abuse, it is not bad parenting, is it being prepared!! NO PARENT IS DOING THIS FOR FUN!! It is valuable, if you dont have kids or a pool you probably won't understand.

  • Sweet little angel. I like his footies!!

I don't like seeing him floating there with no where to go!

I just wished I could've grabbed him and dried him off to keep him warm! =[

Children should learn to swim early in life though.

Not only will they be further away from need of caution, they'll have a skill they can enjoy for the rest of their lives! =D

  • Comment removed

  • ahhh help him poor thing!

  • lmao 5 minutes later, child torture ftw... //??//

  • knowing we live in a world that's 70% water...this baby can certaintly survive any drowning...

  • awesome...

  • WHY DONT THE CAMERA MAN get the baby?

  • so cute!! My baby sister was swiming at 8 weeks and now shes 5 and she cant swim

  • wow.. that baby's brave! he actually smiled when his dad came to get him.

  • but it means that accedent is possible to happen at your own pools or friend's or even at the beach. and when it happen you know that you can see your child again as a survivol and not to lose you baby.

  • At first I hated this video as child was just crying , but then when I saw the end of it it did make sense to me. Every parents who had swimming pools should teach their babies to swim and not to go near the pools as well. this video does not mean to open your door and let your kids just to go and wonder to the pool.

  • This is distubing to me. Thats like teaching ur kid that its ok to go around a pool when nobody is there. I get that the baby knew to float but to just let him cry? Horrible parenting. idk any baby at ANY AGE can dround in an inch of water.. this is like teaching a parent that they wont dround. not all babies are the same and if i had a pool id put a fence in and lock it PERIOD. parents if u wish to teach ur kid this at least have a lifeguard do this.. dont leave em just cryin. this is sad

  • @jonette1982 I would have to say I don't agree. The baby is learning a valuable skill here. As a parent, I can't control EVERYTHING. The best I can do is preventive measures and even better would be to prepare my child for such occasion should it happen.

  • @jonette1982 So your opinion is no child should learn to swim before it's safe to be alone in the pool so they don't think it's ok. Well, nobody should be alone in a pool, period. It's like refusing to talk to your child about the safe way to cross the street because he's not allowed to cross it without you. I think better safe than sorry. If you were in the pool with your baby, you hit your head and passed out, wouldn't you want your baby safe until help comes?

  • @jonette1982 ummm, you obviously didn't get the message, the baby was crying so their parents will go to rescue him, OBVOUSLY if this wasn't a video, the parents would have been there as soon as they hear him cry... and this doesn't mean you're gonna let your baby go around a pool, it's meant for accidents...

  • @jonette1982 You're a moron....just letting you know in case someone else hasn't already mentioned it.

  • lold so hard

    five mins later

    omg

  • Newsflash- we live ON LAND, not in water. Learning to swim is important, but not essential for survival.

Cool that babies know how to swim innately, but that is not a humane experiment. When a baby cries at that age for his/her mother/father they are in destress, and experimenting with a baby like that is not healthy or morally right. Also, as you experiment with your child maybe you should also look at what the effects are (high cortisol levels) long term.

  • its stupid because someone must off been filming this and not saving them its shit

  • that´s not funny because other families see this video and then they also do it and then there maybe will be an accident!!!

don´t make such a stupid clip!!!

  • i love the way the baby was smiling wen it was saved

  • This is not child abuse!! in the contrary, I've heard that babies have a natural instinct to kick and move when they're in the water and they can also hold their breath... teaching them how to swim at an early age can save them from a fatal accident. You never know, it can happen to anyone, it has happened in the past, accidents happen even if you're careful, good way to prevent it :)

  • Wow, that's amazing! Thanks for sharing.

  • Because actually keeping an eye on the baby and not leaving it alone near an open pool is too hard.

  • @TraumaFox I think the idea is that you do want to keep on eye on your kids but having them know how to swim just in case is a good additional precaution. I don't know if you have kids but I'm sure if you have them out in a boat they have life preservers in which doesn't mean you won't be watching them.

  • Just make him wear diapers to absorb water, that way he won't drown.

  • Is this a real baby?

  • @dale91000 babies in the first few months can instinctively dog paddle. The potentially life saving thing is that this couple is teaching them to roll over on their backs. Of course, if the kid hits his head falling in, he'll probably be done for.

  • This is child abuse! What the heck!?

  • @qteepie610 It's not child abuse. It's the ISR method of swim survival. Many babies have been saved through this program,
