After the SPLA peace deal with North Sudan, Garang was of no use to Museveni. He had to get rid of him and hopefully reignite the war in South Sudan. A stable sudan was never Museveni's interest.

Although he claims to be a Christian and doing the 10 commandments he also claims that the Ugandan government is responsible for the atrocities, so obviously what he claims can't be trusted. If there was ever proof of a devil, Joseph Kony is it. He is very evil and the things I hear about him being involved in are horrific. I saw an interview with a teenage girl who had been abducted by the LRA on Oprah and the ordeal that she described that she went though was very nightmarish. She was forced to beat to death those children who would not give in to his religeous ideologies. He's a demonic man.
