it was an uneven balance of playing!

i could hardly hear the vibs because there are to many snare drums in it!

this performance (if you can actually call it a performance) was painful to watch!

and i think i should no what i am talking about i am a grade 8 trumpet player!

so learn the piece better before you let the whole world hear you!

Could have been me. I literally learned how to play the Clarinet parts a week before the concert. I switched over from the flutes because there were too any and the band needed more. Those high notes I can sightread, but I can't play. The rest of the song I did the fingerings right but just didn't blow into the instrument...

This is miserable. Very incredible song, but ruined by this performance. My school just had our winter concert, and it was an excellent performance, but theres way too many flaws with this performance.

I say almost same. I play euphonium and my orchestra play that same song. Our orchestra leader almost splitted our orchestra. Only good players get place. But now my orchestra is small but good. We're going to Praha :DD There is competition. Finland is the best!

Although I think that you have your own right to criticize I do not entirely agree with your reasons.

1) Which part is this where the woodwinds are overpowered?

2) Snare drums seem in time to me

3) percussion was ever so evident in this song

4) This is not a criticism (but believe me we would take out those that are only attending for the trip)
