@SongsJerome In the Dayton, Ohio area, I think it aired on WKEF sometimes during Disney cartoons. Except they only ever played the portion of the song at the end, so I never heard the full song.
Yeah, trees are taken for granted. It is also rare to find people who really know how to choose the appropriate trees for their houses. The main obstacle for most people are trees that are too big. Some other people plant only shrubs. And of course, the vast majority don't check their soil Ph before planting, as evident by the type of grass or lack of; this Ph thing is typical of many Florida, US. homes, of course down in Florida there is lots of sand, but one can manage...
aww such nostalgia of my childhood when i watch this.. I remember seeing this almost every morning when i was watching cartoons like dragonball z and pokemon!
I know! Just linked this to an board on a random game (some people mentioned trees, and this song popped into my head. I *HAD* to spread this ear worm around XD ).

Ever wonder what Carly and the gang are up to these days...?
Kid #1 works in Oregon for a major logging company. Supposedly heard yelling "TIMBER!" every 3 minutes.
Kid #2 is currently wanted for arsons across the SW. Goes by the name "el fuego."
Kid #3 was committed to an insane asylum, claiming to be able to speak to birds.
And Carly...sentenced to life in prison for killing 6 policemen during a riot at a "Save the Rainforest" rally. Al Gore denies rumors of involvement.

I remember when the Arbor Day Foundation used to give out baby trees in elementary school for us to plant.
cwk12782 3 years ago 3
Me too! I was 5, and they told me it would grow 1 foot in 1 year. Unfortunately, they didn't take into account little kids stomping on it. :-(
I never knew it was the Arbor Day Foundation though, (or maybe I did and just forgot) I just thought my school/teacher gave out trees, lol.
