Kaiser Permanente’s Old Boys’ Physician Predator Club
Read the California Medical Board’s Accusation against Southern California Permanente Medical Group President, Dr. Edward Ellison’s, intentional failure to report sexual predator physicians and enforce women patients’ right to protection from sexual assault, battery, and rape. Posted on Robert Finney PhD’s Facebook wall.
The Southern California Permanente Medical Group has a 10-year pattern and practice of covering up physician sexual molestation in S. Cal. The Medical Board of California's website posted recent Disciplinary Accusations against Dr. Andrew Golden's Orange County Kaiser Permanente colleague, Family Practice Dept. Chief, and San Diego Area Dir., Dr. Paul Bernstein's colleague, Kaiser’s Orange County Area Medical Dir. Dr. Golden says doctors' rights, not patients, need protection.
New investigation on dangerous doctor, Andrew M. Golden, M.D., is in progress.
According to a 2002 report by the National Center for Victims of Crime, "Virtually any unwanted contact between two people that directly or indirectly communicates a threat or places the victim in fear can be considered stalking."
Dr. Golden’s protection of sexual predator physicians, not women, is posted on HMO Hardball’s website in “Dr. Jekyll’s Scary True Confessions.”
Although Kaiser may admit that your tests, treatments, surgery, drugs, and referrals, both in and out of plan, are “MEDICALLY NECESSARY,” denials based on “NOT MEDICALLY INDICATED” occur, because Kaiser doctors are unqualified, Kaiser hospitals/equipment are substandard, and Kaiser’s policy is not to show patients the money.
Kaiser Permanente invented drive-by delivery, denied kidney transplants to thousands, & paid clerks bonuses to deny appointments.
I received a subrogation letter from Rawlings this week after going to the emergency room for accidentally cutting my finger while cooking. Can Rawlings make me pay for this? What do I do with this letter?
@lamesburg Rawlings could try to coerce you into filing a claim with your homeowners insurance comany, if the accident occurred there. If you were cooking at another location, Rawlings could do the same thing. If you hire a lawyer out of your own pocket, they can plunder your settlement and leave you with nothing. You paid premiums for care and the con men want to collect twice. You have to read your contract with your health plan. Rely your contract and FIGHT RAWLINGS' SCAM!
Kaiser Permanente's top secret health care test and treatment denial reason is stated as "NOT MEDICALLY INDICATED." HINT: This doesn't mean that the test and treatment is "NOT MEDICALLY NECESSARY!"
Kaiser's Appeals Committee refuses to answer this question. All managed care patients don't get knee/hip replacements, heart surgery, cancer therapy, and out of plan referrals, even if they are "MEDICALLY NECESSARY."
Health Fraud Analytics has received a request to investigate insider award of contracts by The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) to organizations inextricably intertwined with its Board of Governors and executives. Interest concerns Dr. Sharon Levine’s appointment. PCORI’s Executive Director, Dr. Joe Selby, is also a Kaiser-Northern California doctor. Kaiser's CEO, George Halvorson, has improperly influenced the ACA to rig funding for Kaiser and health rationing initiatives.
Glad to help a movement that fights. Tell politicians and bureaucrats to protect patients, not Kaiser:

@rainny122 Kaiser medical groups routinely condone and cover up for dangerous doctors, especially doctors who exploit women. Kaiser's Family Practice Chief, Andrew Golden MD, protected a serial sexual molester, Dr. Lall, for years. Instead of firing Lall, Kaiser's San Diego medical group let him go to Scripps, where he molested other women. Posted on hmohardball website, "Dr. Jekyll's Scary True Confessions." Kaiser's current dangerous doctor cover up is orthopedist Robert Powell.
In reply to hundreds of San Diego Kaiser Permanente patients, who are planning to demonstrate against Medical Director Dr. Paul Bernstein's failure to disclipline bad doctors and to respond to complaints/appeals, he's also a victim of Kaiser's corrupt system that values money, not patients. I have just received one of these letters. I am outraged! 'Closed Head Injury' is noted in my KP records and I received medication for migraines, a condition pre-existing the head injury which was result of a violent crime committed several years ago. there was no court case, assailant committed suicide while under arrest. What is best way to get these people off my back without having to forfeit my rights to coverage?
Part 1 of 4 I’m so sorry that Kaiser and Rawlings are making your unimaginable suffering worse instead of making you feel better, which is what you pay the HMO to do. I’m glad my video helped. Dr. Paul Bernstein, Kaiser-San Diego’s Medical Director whom I know and admire, is attempting to improve the HMO, but is powerless to exert effective oversight and to discipline over physicians. Although Dr. Bernstein claims that Kaiser doctors “put our focus on taking care of patients and keeping our members healthy,” the focus is put on taking care of Kaiser at the expense of patients.
Many of you are deeply troubled that Dr. Bernstein is a pitchman who diverts attention from quality of care by gimmicks, such as sponsoring bike helmet giveaways with a football player, whose charity Kaiser bankrolls. Although he is prevented from providing out of plan medically necessary quality of care at Kaiser or referring patients out of plan, his intentions are good.

Talked with Member Services at Kaiser today regarding the Rawlings letter I received. They admitted that Kaiser has hired them to recoop some auto injury insurance money or workmans's comp. I haven't had an accident I tod them. She said " it must have been something you said to a doctor during a visit". Isn't that an invasion of privacy. Is there no doctor-patient relationship anymore?
When I signed up with Kaiser, I was not given a contract.
I'll reply today to: "I am a Kaiser member and received 2 letters from Rawlings. I have watched your video about what they do. What happens if I don’t respond to the questionnaires? What are the ratifications for not giving them such personal information that I am uncomfortable giving? Can I be sued by Rawlings? Can Kaiser eventually cancel my insurance? What steps or precautions should I take to protect myself from Kaiser and Rawlings? Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated."
I’ve received 4 letters, each one more threatening. Rawlings has made indirect threats that my insurance will be terminated, if I don’t cooperate. I haven’t replied to anything, other than with the YouTube, which they’ve seen many times. They’ve done nothing about it. You don’t have to send them anything other than what’s mandated by your contract with Kaiser, under the provision “subrogation” or “coordination of benefits” or something related to payments.
My contract and all the contracts I’ve reviewed state that you don’t need to disclose any information about medical care related to an accident unless you’ve actually filed a claim against another party and that party’s insurance company. Even then, you have 30 days to notify Kaiser/Rawlings. Usually the Kaiser front desk clerk will ask at check-in if your appointment involves an accident.
You don’t need to answer that question, as long as you comply with your contract to the letter. Kaiser can’t cancel your policy; Rawlings can’t sue, if you comply with the contract. Rawlings has a contract with Kaiser and can’t do anything without Kaiser’s OK. Be sure to comply with your contract. If your employer contracts with Kaiser, get a copy from Human Resources and ask them to explain that provision.
Kaiser Permanente’s and Rawlings’ “failure to provide information…will lead [patients] to conclude that [they] are not going honor the terms of [patients’] health coverage, a requirement of continued coverage under [Kaiser Permanente’s] health plan.”
3. Have you come across instances of this happening outside of CA? If so, is there any state or states that they seem to be more egregious than others?
4. Do you know of any instance where a patient/subscriber did pay or was forced to litigate to obtain payment as a result of Rawlings' fraudulent tactics?
2. Exemplars of documents showing Rawlings attempting to extract information and payment through fraudulent means on behalf of Kaiser. You showed a document on your YouTube video and I'd like to get a copy of that document as well as a couple of others where Rawlings is committing fraud on behalf of Kaiser. Of course all private patient information should be blotted out.
1. Any portion of the Kaiser membership agreement showing a patient/insured agreed to Kaiser bringing aboard Rawlings or any other 3rd party to pursue liens...curious to see what scope of authority a patient/subscriber agrees to in Kaiser's standard agreements.
“Failure to provide information…will lead us to conclude that you are not going honor the terms of your health coverage, a requirement of continued coverage under your health plan.”
In reply to Kaiser and Rawlings, I refer them to an inquiry sent to me from a law firm, stating:
“I'm hoping we can focus on the following general topics concerning Kaiser-Rawlings in a research of potential state and national claims:
On August 12, 2011, I received an “IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM [MY] HEALTH BENEFITS PROVIDER” by The Rawlings Co., regarding my refusal to provide my private health information that is not required by my contract with Kaiser Permanente. Rawlings threatened that Kaiser will terminate my health insurance, should I refuse to comply with its illegal, fraudulent demand.
THE RAWLINGS LETTER IS NOT A BILL! IT IS A DECEPTIVE DEMAND FOR PERSONAL INFORMATION IN VIOLATION OF PATIENTS' CONTRACT AND THE CALIFORNIA UNFAIR COMPETITION LAW. PATIENTS DO NOT OWE KAISER ANY MONEY, ABSENT PROCEEDS FROM A SUBROGATION RECOVERY.
Have you seen or heard of any documents stating that Kaiser's purpose is to expedite billing, rather than deceiving patients? I've interacted with Rawlings' employees who state that Kaiser's purpose is deception.
I work at an attorney's office and have been dealing with requesting bills from the Rawlings Company for a few years now. Kaiser Permanente decided about eight years ago to do all bills and medical records electronically. After this electronic system failed, Kaiser was about four years behind on their records and bills, so they hired an outside company to process your bills instead. The reason the envelope says Kaiser is so as not to confuse patients about who the bill is coming from.

Special interests have hijacked Medicare by rationing healthcare of the taxpayers who fund it. eg:
Kaiser Permanente’s Managing Director of Investments supervises the HMO’s $40 billion non-profit slush fund, all income from which is non-taxable. CEO George Halvorson’s annual compensation is $6.7 million. All Permanente Medical Groups are for-profit.
The Kaiser Foundation Health Plan contracts with the for-profit Permanente Medical Groups to provide all medical care to patients, who are Kaiser members. Because Kaiser funnels all members to “a for-profit” doctor partnership, Kaiser Permanente is a for-profit medical care provider just like other health plans. Original investigations are posted on YouTube and HMO Hardball.
@abrokeheartpro People like you make our investigations worthwhile. Our goal is to protect patients from being victimized by Kaiser's lies. This morally repugnant health plan hurts plain folks. The taxpayers' government has been hijacked by special interests. Patients have to look out for each other.
Posting your experience, with these unwarranted demand letters, to your Facebook page, and your friends already responding moves patients toward a "tipping point" to force health plans and their agents, e.g., Rawlings, to cease and desist these vicious patient scams intentionally overlooked and allowed by the government. Patients telling patients telling patients will create a force to stop these fraudulent practices. Double Fixed
I'm receiving these letters, and the date of coverage they refer to has nothing to do with any kind of accident. That's what makes it so suspicious to me. Why do they need all my other information?
@lookingood364 Thanks, when your are asked for personal information on false pretenses, you can assume that your own information wiil not be used in your best interest. My further investigation into Rawlings shows that Rawlings lawyers have attempted to persuade judges that the company is not a collection agency and that patients are not consumers. This is just a taste of the exent to which a big health plan will go to scam unwary patients. Your are a savvy consumer. Jackie Finney
If it doesn't feel right, I don't do it. Kaiser has my information, why would I give it to these people? I've posted this to my Facebook page and already my friends have shared it and commented on it.
Authenticated opinions are based on verifiable facts. DMCare does not identify any facts that are untrue. Rawlings sent this letter, attempting to coerce patients to disclose personal information that is confidential and not required by law and contract. Kaiser and Rawlings are engaged in a fraudulent enterprise that harms patients. This is a simple fraud that deceives patients in violation of California's Unfair Competition Law.
It's more reasonable to believe that Rawlings is looking for evidence of other insurance coverage for accident victims. This keeps double dipping to a minimum and reduces health care costs for Kaiser's beneficiaries. Finally, a reasonable interpretation of HIPAA is that Rawlings would be a covered entity. This video is an unfair ideological portrayal of a complicated issue.

Would the attorney who is considering an action against Kaiser and Rawlings kindly e-mail me again? The address supplied did not permit my reply.

I have received a few of these as well and am getting pissed off at this point. I don't appreciate my medical records being exploited in this manner.

Review your contract and be sure to comply with its exact terms to protect yourself. You have rights. I've tried to answer your email with additional information, but can't get through. Please send it again.

Kaiser Permanente’s Non-Profit Scam
The Kaiser Foundation Health Plan contracts with the for-profit Permanente Medical Groups to provide all medical care to patients, who are Kaiser members. Because Kaiser funnels all members to “a for-profit” doctor partnership, Kaiser Permanente is a for-profit medical care provider just like other health plans. Original investigations are posted on YouTube and HMO Hardball.

I received 3 oof these letters. I thought they seemed fishy. Thanks so much for the information, I'm so sick of scams.

Why do they need all my other information?
lookingood364 10 months ago
