I have to say, I like bon iver but at a bit of an arms length. While his voice is good due to the unique nature of his singing, it's not totally to my liking. It fits in with his songs but I prefer a more regular kind of singing (whatever I call regular). So I tend to really like the standout songs but find myself completely indifferent to the less reverent ones. What I do think he's great at is actually writing the music. That for me is his definite strength.
