  • game looks fuckin horrible..

  • LOL - Turn Disk Over

  • @gjc8207 not really sad at all. but it dates me. I remember every song and sound that game makes. I begged my parents for weeks to get this game for me.

  • Someone should give this game as a present to the Angry Video Game Nerd...

  • @Johanproducties That dude annoys me. IMO he is totally biased against vintage/classic & retro gaming in general. It's like his age prevents him from.....I can't explain it.....I grew up with Atari 2600 @ a time when there was little else to play. It was amazing, back then. I can see a vintage game in THAT light, without trying to compare it to a freak'n Wii. It doesn't see that he also can. Typical of media, a person who is least educated + biased & annoying, is most popular. Screw him.

  • I remember being a kid and being gaga over GI Joe. My brother got this game from his friend and i had to play it. My brother told me it was hard. When I played it, i got my ass kicked at it.

  • I remember this game . What piece of shit.

  • @godstomper YOU asre the only piece of shit here you mofo

  • @shairaptor Its just a game man .

  • @godstomper ok sorry

  • @shairaptor Its ok .

  • sad that I grew up with this game.

  • @silkystreebzz Why "sad"?

  • @silkystreebzz why sad? idiot

  • TURN THE DISC OVER!

Oh man, I lovedlovedloved this game as a kid. I was DEVASTATED when it started to not work right, and as far as I could get was like.. playing one of Clutch's levels before it would crash and not work. Sad, sad days but man this video is so nostalgic!

  • @Erekai Get VICE/the ROM, & play again! :-)

  • @gjc82071 Vice is an emulator for commodore 64? awesome! must track it down.

  • @gluband VICE is IMO, the best C64 emulator there is. You should get the newest version of VICE. ver 2.1 to 2.3. It works so good! Plays 99.99% of C64 games. I can send links to your inbox if you want? (use the official VICE website for downloads) I also know about great websites that have nearly every C64 game available for download. Either individually, or ALL of them in a single zipped file. Let me know if you want the links.

  • What the hell's going on?!!!!

  • the old "turn disk over" routine... how times have changed

  • Ah yes, this was the game that introduced the concept of rage quitting to me at the age of six.

  • Yyyyyyyo Joe!

  • Snake Eyes vs Michael Jackson and Uncle Paulie's Robot?

  • wow layering, and look at the robot when he goes behind the car, it even looks like he is seenditorted throught the glass windows of the car... This was in when? 1984? Wow, C-64 was really capable of really advanced game concepts.

  • these graphics rival the new games on PS3.

  • Another C64 game that would confuse the hell out of me as a kid. I guess they cant all be bounty Bob Strikes Back.

  • man I remember playing this on my Comm 64 as a kid.. The music has stuck with me until this day. Still remember the sound of winning a battle, or if you lost.

This game had no fucking ending, u would put them behind bar only to have them free again. The flpping of disks, ahhhhhhhhhhhh i could go on.. great memories though.

  • This was a technically exceptional game but frustrated me much that those retard cobras had so good lawyers.

  • This game frustrated me, too. Technically was damn good but those retard cobras always got away from prison. They had a good lawyer or something.

  • it was fun back in the day. but it sucked that you couldn't end it

  • Oh my how many hours I did play this?!??!??

  • still waiting for my transformers set(s) $17 per now ~ $50 per discontinud ~ aww the good ol' dazs :P

  • great stuff ~ series re-released to dvd ~ yo joe !!!

  • I used to play this game for hours. I would get so mad cause I'd beat a bunch of the Cobra members and then they'd end up free again a few rounds later. Just hearing the music is a huge nostalgia rush.

  • Younger people may not appreciate how special this game was for us, how amazing it was to actually play characters from a beloved tv cartoon! That was extremely rare back in the early 80's.

Also, the game itself was top quality, with both 1-on-1 shooting (like here) and vehicle action.

It was very sophisticated by the standards of the time.

    Thanks for uploading!

  • As a kid, my dad had to buy 3 copies of this game in total. Like all Epyx games, the copy protection scheme would ruin the disk and make it unplayable after a certain amount of time. I'd like to see publishers try to get away with that today.

  • Je l'avais ce jeu il était bien comme tout les jeux commodore 64

  • Used to play this one for hours as a kid - pretty awesome how it never ended, me and my brother used to tell our Dad we'd stop playing once the round was over. Four hours later Dad would realize what was going on and kick us off.

  • i always played as roadblock^^

  • I was just playing this game a few minutes ago on VICE emulator. I had this as a kid for my C64. Airborne Ranger was a sweet game too, & also Arnie 1 & 2. The Archon series are among the best games of all time. Spy vs Spy was cool too, and my favorite C64 RGP game, Questron, for sure.

  • Alors la!!! ont trouve vraiment TOUS sur le WEb!!!

  • Kind of looks like the old Archon games.

  • Contrary to popular believe, this game does have an ending. It involves throwing your C64 across the room and discovering porn magazines for the first time.

  • @bigpoopie69 So thats where the Baroness came in.....dropping those hints.

  • @bigpoopie69 LMAO

  • It's amazing how the songs in these games just stays in your memory permanently. I haven't played this game since probably around 1987, but I could still hum the songs through memory upon hearing them again. This was one of my favorite C64 games. On the board this vid is on, a friend and I spent countless hours trying to blow up the white bot. We just kept shooting and shooting it till it turned bright red and moved at light speed. We thought it might blow up. It doesn't.

  • Funny that you mention the song staying in your head. I was just in the shower and suddently started humming the Cobra song that's playing when you select a character in this game. I thought, "I wonder if I can find that song on YouTube." Sure enough, here it is! Wow... just wow.

  • Kids today complain when it takes ten seconds to load something... The C64 was sooooo slow. A lot of games you spent a lot more time waiting than actually playing.

  • Used to take around 20-30 minutes to load a game if I remember correctly

  • Where online can I PLEASE PLAY THIS

  • Emulator.

  • lol power sounds !!!

    (C=

  • That was such a great game back in the day.

  • I took this game out and play just because the movie rang me a bell of this game...

Comparing the graphic with C64, I would rather play Apple II version......

  • EPIC !!!!

  • I remember playing this. It was frustrating, that it had no ending though.

  • Thanks for your confirmation! I thought that failing to end this game was my own problem.....

  • I remember this from when I was 5! Dude that robot made me soo mad as a kid....

  • WOW I remember this game, used to play it for hours. The Joe music looping over and over and over and the loading screen...AARGH

  • Do the sound effects during gameplay remind anyone else of Archon? Maybe the designers decided to pay a bit of tribute to it.

  • Turn the Disk over!

    YO JOE !!!

I loved that game so much.

  • This game was such a big part of my childhood in the 80's. There have been so many c=64 games that have been remade. This game should get the same treatmeant.

  • i never saw this game.

  • This game had the longest loading times of -all fucking time-.

  • A-FUCKING-MEN!!!!!!!! Just to play one battle, you'd have to wait for ten minutes.

  • my god this game is so fucking lame id kill myself if i had to play it more than like 2 minutes.

  • what is rambo doing over there?

  • Turn the disk over, FOOL!

  • Good old C64.

  • hey i wonder if sgt.slaughter will ever be in a video game for gijoe that would be kick ass.

  • cool! @_@

  • can someone tell me why is Snake Eyes the favorite joe?

  • Hes' a ninja?

  • kkkkkkkkkkkkkk

Damn right, ninjas are the best!

  • i luved this game...used 2 play it when i was bout 9 years old!great!!!

  • seriously was there no ending if you beat up all of cobra? never gotten far enough to know that... that robot was so scary when you were like 8 years old.

  • Snow job.....reminds me of.......winter? :/

  • man i remember this game!!!! the vehicle missions were awesome...and i got chills hearing the turn the disk over theme...lol

  • wow this looks better than the movie coming out!! And cobra commander is wearing a hood!!

  • I remember this did not know it was a comic

  • Why can't the robot go around the parking meter?

  • They dont make games like this anymore =(

  • Yes they make them better.....

  • @epolizard thank God.

  • LOL... I loved this game on my C-64. Dang, I rocked with Snake Eyes.

  • Yeah Snake Eyes was mad fast.

  • This Game kicked so much ass it wasn't even funny...I don't think they made an ending for it though. Way before it's time, with elements of cover shooting.

  • Oh yeah I used to play this for hours, waiting for an end, but it never happened lol

  • Ya I heard that there was an ending but I played it for hours too and never saw it.

  • spent countless hours on that game together with my friends. those were the days! c64 rocks!!! YO JOE! TURN THE DISK! =)

  • another great c64 game I used to play. YO JOE!

  • This was my favorite game as a kid! I played it until the disk overheated and broke, and then bought another copy. I loved playing against Zartan, because you never knew which Joe he would impersonate.

  • hellll yea! This game was amazing!

  • Porkchop sandwiches!!

  • Couldn't beat the game, but I guess that made sense since Cobra was never really defeated.

  • is it true, that the game was unbeatable ´cause the villains escaped over and over again? i wonder if anbody ever made it to the end...

  • It IS unbeatable; originally it wasn't, but a boss at the company thought it was a better idea to make an 'interactive toy' instead of a game... Which meant basically the same thing except he made the designers remove the ending and make it loop infinitely. Great idea...

  • They kind of did that with some of the Disney inspired children's games too, like Donald Duck's Playground

  • can you upload shows blowtorch in action shooting?

  • Yeah Blowtorch was unstoppable, had that big ass flame.

  • this game SOO rocked the c64!!

really makes me want to eat cheese!

    thanks for posting.

  • BEST C64 - GAME EVER!!!

  • can you upload more and I wanted to see other joes and cobra in action!

  • There was a GI Joe called "Snowjob"? XD

Anyway, I loved GI Joes and I loved this game because it was the first time I actually got to see these characters actually SHOOTING each other as opposed to just SHOOTING AT each other (anyone remember the cartoon?)

  • it was a joke from the programmers, one was called snowjob and one blowtorch and that makes...uhh yea snowtorch^^

  • @GreggZolon Lol.

I wish my girlfriend would give me a snowtorch. But all she does is stick my penis in her mouth. :/

  • @GreggZolon hahahahahahahahahhahahah

  • @halidefox Hell yea! I LOVED this game, & used to watch the cartoon after school, everyday @ around 3:30-4:00pm. "GOooooo....Joooooe!!!"!
