Lowell George, or no Lowell George, this is a kick as band. These guys took Dixy land music, and added some soul and drums to it, and just flat kick butt. I just think their great and so darn creative and original. Marc Trainor.

Little Feat is an awesome band. With Lowell or without !! If you have seen them lately you would know. They are incredible !! Especially with Sam Bush playing the George parts on his fiddle, dynamite !!!!

Then tell me, who assembled the band? Whose songs are still gaining them royalties? Who was the frontman, the best slide guitarist? Why must somebody imitate Lowell's voice? I could go on... who's very small feet was the band named after, and do you know why the word Feet was spelled Feat? He was a loyal friend and a songwriter and performer par excellance. Bands are composed of their members. Other than Lowell & the original piano player the band is intact and they are totally awesome now !!!

I got to see fred and Paul tonight in the UK. One man doesn't make a band. Bands have eras and Little Feat are in a new era. Its ok to say "I preferred Lowell" or "I preferred Craig Fuller" etc. thats normal but they are STILL Little Feat.

Pink Floyd is still Pink Floyd without Syd Barret and Roger Waters as an example.

Go to their wedsite, they still tour, have new stuff etc. They do a festival in Nigril (sp) Jamaca in Feb of each year. Never gone, would love to go. Saw them in 74, I think, I was blown away, really. Anyway all but Lowell,RIP, have been a part of Feat since.

Yes he is still part of Feat. Roy Estrada is the only one not active. He was active 1969-1971. He started little feat with lowell after leaving Zappa, then left feat in 71, and played with Captian Beefheart & Zappa & whoever.

I agree with 2rainbowed, Little Feat without Lowell are a great Rock band, but it ain't Little Feat. Anyone who thinks so just does not get it, full stop. When Lowell died the spirit that was the Feat also died. They are still good though.

This is a Lowell George song that the Band has treated with so much respect. They go out of their minds to do it better - and they do! I saw the Band in Oslo just two weeks ago at Lillehammer/Norway, and their just great. Lowell will always be there, but LF is a world class rokc'n roll band. Tom

This is a perfect one for true Feat fans. The jamming does get just a little long winded, but thats more for the band's edification than the crowds. the audio quality coud be a bit better, but overall, not too shabby.
