Everyone experiencing an inability to appreciate the glorious cacophony that is the Hamster Alliance is going to become increasingly sad in future. Sulek's music is great for a certain moods and situations, but their discography is a) finite and b) not appropriate for every situation.
I can either continue to churn out the same 'vaguely-disturbing-imagery-set-to-calm-folky-tunes' animation ad nauseam, or I can experiment with an ever evolving style and atmosphere. I choose the latter.
Wow, I'm excited, but scared at the same time. The first 2 had humor with the disturbingness. This was just flat out creepy. I love it. Hurry up and get it finished.
I forgot to mention, this preview is probably about a fourth to a fifth of the entire movie. These scenes were supposed to be in Advent of Sock, but got cut for time. As such, the real story of Empire doesn't even start in this clip.
This would have been much better with another Sulek soundtrack.......the music for this was pretty weak.
