I've seen about half the iron chef episodes so far, and with the exception of the weird dubs on this episode its my favorite so far. SO EPIC!

It's one of the few episodes where they did dub him.

They generally weren't very popular. Most people prefer the subtitles for him.

should someone point out to them that Wedgewood happened several centuries after the medeavil period? They were founded during the industrial revolution (1700s ish); and i heard a nasty rumour they went bust very recently. Shame

And yes berkulese, they're totally NOT medieval. Post-Renaissance. Medieval would be before about the fourteenth century.  I think Wedgewood dates back to the 17th. (Early to mid 1600's.) That's not even the Renaissance anymore.

The old chef (Michiba) retired. Then Nakamura took over for a short while but didn't last long because his win/loss ratio wasn't too impressive. The next replacement is the guy in white you see here - Morimoto.

The Italian dude appears when specially requested because of his junior status.
