I can see that kind of burned out desolation right here in America. Go to most any southern town that once had a textile mill. Go to most trailer parks. Go to the Rust Belt that's been wrecked by free trade and globalization. Go to the Indian reservations!!! Go to the empty and abandoned malls. Go to the abandoned housing developments that were started as the mortgage bubble started to burst.
