@byMSN Yes. 3 layers... base layer is the footage, 2nd layer is the 3D elements, and 3rd layer (top layer) is the footage again, but with a mask around the actor.
@wheay21 A tutorial about this would be huge. It would require hours of video to record. Last time I made a tutorial that long, a lot of people didnt like it because it was 12 parts long and no on wanted to watch all of it.
Sad to say, most C4D users on youtube only want short tutorials on how to do easy things.
@UnderlinedDesigns Anytime you track footage, you have to set up a coordinate system, which would include a origin, ZX plane, etc. If you dont do this, then the camera and point cloud you import into C4D will be a huge mess and nothing will line up properly.
@UnderlinedDesigns I do! i followed ArezHD tutorial exacly same footage!! and it just doesn't work, I have never had any look with matchmoving or motion tracking!
@UnderlinedDesigns AcrezHD used Boujou 5. Ever since the release of Boujou 4.1 its had problems, especially when exported to C4D. If I had to use Boujou, I would only use 4.0 and lower.

is tracking better in syntheyes than boujou?
TehBuda 6 months ago
Both are good, and can do the same thing. However, Syntheyes is faster, cheaper, and imports into C4D better than Boujou.
ShepperdOneill in reply to TehBuda (Show the comment) 6 months ago
When I matchmove, it track brilliantly, but then when I export it and add text is just flys away, yours seems like it's stuck there, HOW!!!
UnderlinedDesigns 6 months ago
@UnderlinedDesigns Did you set up a coordinate system?
ShepperdOneill in reply to UnderlinedDesigns (Show the comment) 6 months ago
@ShepperdOneill I'm not sure what you mean, but if you could do a tut I would be extreamly grateful
