I can tell you how you do it... You have both the outfits you used in the video, you stay in the same spot and make sure you don't move position of screen then record yourself doing guitar emote with one outfit than other than just time them in the editing software u use

Upon watching this again for the first time in months, I must agree with you. In the beginning I was trying to match lyrics with actions, however as the video progressed I focused more on the editing and effects. This becomes more apparent from 3:40 to the end.
