  • Crap thanks tho

  • >A new study shows that children who take ritalin and adderall for ADHD have a higher incidence of Emergency Room visits due to heart problems.

Do you have any source for that information? I have just read a report telling the opposite, namley that those medications don't increase heart problems at all. Anyone can Google ADHD medicine heart and see: "ADHD medicine doesn’t increase risk for heart problems, study concludes"

You can read the full article in "The New England Journal of Medicine.

  • ADHD is not a recent syndrome. It is only recently that a name has been put to it. People with mental disorders of any sort, even before your time, were often put on display because people, even doctors didn't know what was wrong with people who had autism, down's syndrome, schizophrenia, and even ADHD. Children with ADHD back before your time were most likely locked away in places like Preston Castle (look it up) because they were difficult to control.

  • stop taking drugs smoke some weed.

  • it is people like this guy that make the doctors not want to give me pain killers for my broken nose:(

  • I have bipolar disorder 1 and add, Im taking like 5 pills to take care of all this. Anyone have a solution for that? Its a pain in the ass having all these side effects, but I'm completely unproductive and impulsive without it.

  • @boricuamm707 I can imagine that it's a real pain in the butt to have to take 5 pills a day. I have read of studies that show Omega 3 fatty acids have improved the bipolar condition. Omega 3s help neurotransmitters in the brain. One study, American Journal of Psychiatry, and another from Harvard Medical School. Another possibility is taking more magnesium as well as having proper blood sugar levels, that is, avoiding refined sugar and dead carbohydrates.

  • @scuromano Thank you, yes I have been taking omega 3s for about 3-4 months now along with a multi vitamin. I'll check in with magnesium.

  • @boricuamm707 You need to go to another doctor. My son died at age 22 after 10 years of use. His doctor kept uping his dosage, and he became addicted. This is a very addictive drug. Google Dr. Yong Kim study on Ritalin. He is concluding that Ritalin may be more addictive to the brain than Cocaine per his study at the National Institute of Drug Abuse (NIDA). Ask to go to another Psychiatrist.

  • Hey don't take those drugs. Use these instead. Maybe you should buy our new Brain Training Course or our book about what food to eat. The others are wrong. WE ARE RIGHT. Yes buy our stuff you poor fuck. I'm so tired...

  • Yes, the U.S. might be overmedicated, but a lot of other countries both rich and poor are undermedicated. So, I think your comparison could be misleading. Some countries have absolutely no diagnosis or treatments available for adhd, a rich country like Sweden has approx a 1-3 year wait to even undergo testing and very limited resources for treatment. I would take your healthcare system over ours anyday, and I would be careful not to overmedicate. But at least I would have the option to medicate

  • i was diagnosed with adhd how do i get my doctor to give me ritalin heh

  • To The Author...These ER visits you talk about, do these kids ACTUALLY have ADHD? I Most definetly have it, and unless you know what It's like It's hard to say don't take meds. For people who DON"T have ADHD and they take meds for that, OF COURSE their heart is going to race. Mine actually slowed down when I took it, which is kind of what I expected, it made me more mellow and my concentration was improved which allowed me to learn much easier....Just my thoughts!

  • I don't know if the kids actually do have ADHD or not. Most, I know, are not diagnosed and tested properly. What causes ADHD? Why is it a recent syndrome? And, why is 75% of all Ritalin in the world distributed in the U.S. (figures are a few years old, may be more now)? Something really strange is going on here. In any case, I'm glad that you are doing better now.

  • @scuromano i stopeed using ADHD medicine, when i found out 75% was made and given here. the stuff did help, but i became quite irritable when it comes down. but i have more recently been using marijuana and it DOES seem to help me focus, and when the high comes down im not at all irritable. but i dont have a 215 card (yet i live in California and over 18).

  • YES I DO

*lights up and hands to child*

smoke smoke smoke that joint, let the magic flow go past the mountain thats made of chocolate and then it'll let ya go.

lol. this is very bias. if kids/adults have a learning disability which consists of a chemical imbalance they should have the option for treatment. it seems as if your just trying to market your non-fda approved supplements rather to raise awareness of potential drug effects/abuse etc. just my $0.02

  • Thanks for your comment Gurdeeps5. Of course I'm promoting a product, as I say so in the video. And, there's a reason for it: I've seen a lot of people benefit from it. Here's a question: why is there so much ADD, ADHD, ODD, etc. today? It's just a recent syndrome, it didn't exist when I was a kid. I was making people aware of the dangers of drugging up the population 20 years ago (before ever marketing anything) when I saw that it was a policy to create a "pharmacological" society.

  • Sue all those Nazi psyciatrists.

  • I agree...the told me my preschooler had adhd..and wouldnt let her go to preschool without meds..So we homeschool her..

and besides all these meds are suppose to help you, yetthe cause so many other bad hings that could happen.

Heartattacks, high blood pressure, tourettes, seizures and much more..Its horrible. I refuse to give my childrena drug thats suppose to help them, but possible cause something else...forget that..I am all natural, herbal...Mom, my kids never get anitbotics or anything

  • adhd isnt real, u know

  • Nothing wrong with being crazy and bouncing of the walls, its humane, now making robots without feelings out of our kids is not humane... runnig around saying YES.. YES.. YES.. YESYESYES!!!

  • Spoken like a true moron! Spoken like someone who has NO CLUE about ADHD, and I would venture someone without kids period. Do some research, get the facts, or spend a week with some ADHD kids (guess what, they really do exist!) before spouting your mouth off. JACKASS.

I'm talking about the poster, not the person in the video.

  • I have several friends with "adhd", one of which refused to take drugs for it for all his life... guess what, hes a vivacious person, and guess what, he accomplished more than the others, hes not a tech person, built his own computer, runs his own website, hes in an acting club and he just can't stop doing stuff. And as a person who took adhd medications in the past, as I AM diagnosed with it, I can tell you... speed is speed, nothing else. And get some other place for your hate... dipshit.

  • Some tea, healthy breakfast and some vitamins all thats needed for the add, as well as education about time management. Works better for me than adderall and vyvance. And I don't feel like a retard without it, cuz in 3 months I can do volume integrals better without it than I did on it. Those are facts, not pills, not that ADHD is some crazy illness, its a mental condition coming from lack of organization, childcare and general attention. How can you concentrate is you never tried to?

    pills? ha

  • And it is a matter of how much effort you put in getting both parts of your brain to "spin" at the same frequency, don't underestimate the power of nature to be able to adjust and heal the body and mind. 3 years on adderall and almost a year on vyvance till I realized that I can do without it, and maybe I am a bit out of wack, jump from subject to subject, but anywho I got 182 IQ, so following my train of thought is hard. Half a year without them and I can be myself, not teeth grinding robot.

  • You've obviously have never tried speed. Might as well give the kids a glass pipe with thier inhalers. Go docs!

  • im trying to get high with concerta

  • Asprin causes more emergency room visits than adderall.

  • White Willow Bark does the same as aspirin and it doesn't kill ya or have bad side effects! (smile) I use it all the time; it is a natural medicine!

  • Thank you so much for this video. You inspiring me to keep fighting to remove my 9 year old daughter off atypical and physco drugs. I am currently being persucuted for my beliefs in the natural cures. I will be using you video in my fight with local Dept. of Social Services,School and Mental health systems. God Bless and Love You.

  • youre doing a good job. =))

  • We Americans are programmed by the TV set to feel sick; we are bombarded by pharmsuticals adds that are created to make us feel sick and needing of their products. Our schools are nothing but box factories! If your child has a little more energy and creativity that keeps them from fitting neatly into that box; they slap a label on their ass and pop a pill in their mouth. Being creative and energetic does not make a good, obedient SHEEPLE!

  • yeah!!!

  • Give the kids glass pipes with thier inhalers. Go Docs!

  • effing retard
