So Im just relaying info not making any judgments but thats in fact the only reason he takes those classes. The flyers actually pay for those classes per Paul Holmgren. In conclusion I feel it has everything to do with his fights.u-jitsu specifically deals with grappling throwing and rapid punching unlike your traditional kung-fu. Secondly, I even saw the special with Riley at the Cherry Hill Ju-Jitsu class, when he and his instructor said he takes the calss specifically to gain an edge in his "own" fighting style to combat other NHLer fighters "specific" fighting style, thats the whole point of him tkaing those classes his instrucurer attends the games, they look over tape of who he may be fighting next, the next teams tough guy that is, than they go over how they can modify his style to continually improve.

Second, off Cote has been training in Brazilian Ju-Jitsu for 4 years he never has nor never will get demolished someone with that kind of training cant ever get demolished. Third, off Laraque has said over and over that pound 4 pound Cote is THE toughest in the league, but I guess you guys now more than Laraque, and Ju-Jitsu

I know a great deal about Cote as I've watched probably every one of his fights since he's been in the league. He MAY be one of the toughest, but if you look at his record he's around a 500 fighter. He will go with ANYONE, but wins against good opponents are rare. As far as Jujitsu goes, I'm a purple belt and can tell you that striking is no part of it. Jujitsu has nothing to do with this fighting style.
