I am Sry to Say that the car has been in the Dealer for a whole month now, because it blew 2 camshafts. the dealer say's its not available, so he will order it from other countries.

their service has been very annoying, and am actually gonna sell the car, because if further problems happen, i won't wait months for them each time things blows up.

+ they said the camshafts were blown from about 10,000 km. and my full service ended 7,000 km ago.  So i think they knew it was broken and scammed me.

My 2007 Expedition happily crossed 120,000 Km with no repairs needed at all other than regular oil and filters cleaning, and i cross off-road area's every morning, so your theory is clearly non-sense :)

@getsugatenshou1993 Land cruiser comfort sucks, i have driven both, the expedition feels like a couch, you cant compare 2 different types, land cruiser has japanese dimensions which are very uncomfortable, American standards and dimensions are much more reliable, and i only need my car to cross the sand areas that i cross, i dont need to sleep in the desert, so this car is the best for what i need.

@yamenad lol maybe the case with the older land cruisers.. but have you seen the new ones? Like 2007+? They are pure luxury yet still retain good off road practicality. Not to mention the fact that it has a much better engine.. 381HP 5.7L V8 vs the tired underpowered 5.4L Triton in your expedition. Also, don't confuse the FJ cruiser with the Land Cruiser.. two totally different vehicles.

@yamenad I have this as a rental car right now and it blows just saying. For the size it is i thought it would have a nice comfortable ride, but man was i wrong. My mom's 2001 ml320 with messed up control arm bushings still rides better than this. The front overhang is so annyoing to look at, at all times. The car is so big, the side mirrors cant even fully the road... American build quality sucks even the seatbelt gets caught between the handrest and seat bolster.. It's just sad....

You're like 50 yards away from a paved road, just because there's some sand around, it doesn't make it a desert. If Ford Expedition is a real off-road vehicle, then why in all the rough terrains like Australia, Sahara Desert, and the Arabian desert, the only car they use is a Toyota Landcruiser?

The expedition would probably only last for a few hours if that.

They use land cruisers because its very cheap to repair, since all the cars suffer after working for months in desert bashing, while the expedition is very more luxerious and more comfortable, and more expensive to repair,

@yamenad ill take youre expy over a 2008 land cruiser. expys are so smooth and quiet and the independent rear suspension is a big plus. and expeys are easy to repair and are reliable thanks to the f150 chassis and powertrain

yea, i really like this truck, i traveled 3400 km with it, i sware i didnt feel anything, i even let me 15 years old kid, drive it and he found it very easy, with the new leather captain chairs and powerfull air conditioner, it was a peace of cake, and i used the cruise in about 90% of trip, which made me drive 700 km a tank, which is a very good milage.

actually it does(light) only when its switched off(switch) for hill climbing and i am going over 30kph, but when its off (switch) and under 30kph it doesnt flash its just on always( light).

actually i like my car very much, so comfortable and safe, no problems untill now, the ford service is very exelent, and when i drove the not limited, i felt the car little big for nothing, but when i bought it limited, i feel the car is filled with very comfortable and nice things, for kids and for me. i hope this helps.

thats wrong, you don't get more power at Tahoe, having more horse power isn't the only think that makes it powerful, Expedition torque beats tahoe,

Expedition can tow 4450kg.

tahoe can tow 3790kg.

for the mpg ok thats right but also the Expedition in 2wd has a good mpg.

fxf lo is when nothing happens to the differential (which means wen you turn none of the tires go limp to make the vehicle turn easier) and all wheels are not as powerful as fxf hi, fxf auto is all balls out but tha differential are not lock, so wen yoi turn sum tires go limp, and fxf hi is all balls out and the differentials are locked, then yoi get the full ford off road feeling....

I dont mean to flame or anything but i recomend that you learn how to drive in sand before taking your car into the sand. Here is a tip: ease off the gas dont give it too much gas when driving on sand ( because it damages the car, wastes more gas, and is pointless) and also deflate all your tires to about 50% airpressue which will increase the surface area of your tire hiting the sand thus increasing your traction. Try it and tell me how it comes out.

oooo i forgot to tell you my mom drove a 2008ford expedition king ranch every option out their. She absolutly loved it soooooo much not so crazy bout the looks but she loved the interior and the drive. And was so quiet and rode so great!!! but said her car dove good but not as good of steering as the expediton
