  • simply beautiful.

  • Ive seen Chris in concert. He's very good. As believers in Christ, we so need to be together as much as we can. Going to concerts together is a great place to do just that. Are you saved? If you are, you love, love, love to be with fellow believers...just to be together.

  • Hi! Thanks for uploading the great song. I have only vinyl ,so yours got much better sound (^^; This CD is damn expensive cuz of premier in here JPN (-_-#)

Don't you have "Whatever it is" and Ain't Nothing Like The Real Thing You're All I Need To Get By"" in the same album ? Please upload them if you have time. Thanks.

  • Like. A beautiful song for my Jilly whom I love more than life itself.

  • The ABSOLUTE nadir of late 70s-early 80s soft rock. Simply nauseating.

  • makes me think of someone that was once very very special to me..Lisa wherever you are I love you!!!

  • The song reminds me of my teenage years:)

  • Found out that Cheryl Ladd sang backup on it. Lon hit #37 in Billboard, 11-21-81. God bless ya, brother Lon! Thanx, noburn, for postin' it.

  • corpsvalue..this one of my favorite 80's tunes

  • Great forgotten song.

  • Hit #8 AC, #37 pop in Billboard. God bless! Chris was most likely singin' to Jesus.

  • ...didn't he also write "Back In My Life Again" for Karen Carpenter? Many didn't catch that it was a message to God and not a love affair.

  • Es super bella ,I love this song ,thanks Bogota -Colombia ,thanks

  • Cheryl Ladd on background vocals.....

  • @jajvick LOL! I remember Casey Kasem telling us that on American Top 40. Thanks for reminding us of that tidbit of info.

  • I'm looking for "Too Heavenly Minded"

  • This has certainly always been one of my favorite songs. It's too bad you can't hear it on the radio.

  • Wasn't he part of the short lived trio Cotton Llloyd and Christian [They recorded a soundtrack to the movie "Pom Pom Girls{ in the 70s] Ask your teacher about this. The song"Don't Play With The One Who Loves You" from that movie is great !!! Try to find it It May be on Youtube I haven't checked .... But most things are!!!

  • You can see this song as a call to God or a tribute to an ex girlfrien/boyfriend who realizes what they have lost after living a wilder life without that special one !

  • As Chris was already a Christian, I can see this song as a prayer to Jesus.

  • simply beautiful ~.~
