That sculpture is based on Chuck Norris's little bitch XD Anyways, pretty darn good figure there. I'm making a clay model for a Metal Gear but the darn clay is too malleable, any tips on how to harden it so it'd be easier to work with?
Please someone tell me the name of the song is simply beautiful, i´ll be forever glad if you tell me .By the way, excellent video, excellent music too
Hi Riki, it's actually a mixture if super sculpey clay. It's a kinf of polymer clay. It can be oven baked to harden. You can look at the early part of this video to see how I mix these super sculpey .
why are the mustels in the arms diffrent from eachother i thought they would look alike? but its a cool model would love to do somthing like this as i do 35 mil soldiers
my question is how do you make the action figure posable after it hardens? i messed with polymer clay and what not. could never figure out how to make a poseable action figure, only a still one, yet your figure seems to be poseable? how!! how do you do that
The armature that i have is not meant for posing. It's just convenience for me to remove the limbs so its not in the way for me reach hard to reach areas.
Terracotta clay is basically air dry clay. Unless your sculpt is substantially large, else anything as small as 1:6 scale would not be advisable as it will dry pretty fast.
When you use the brushes to smooth out the details are you always using thinner or any other solvent. or just a dry brush? My clay does not seem to smooth with brush alone although its quite soft. You are awesome! Thanks
I mainly use the brush dry to smooth out the surface. My clay is quite soft , so it does not leave streak marks. But you can still go over it with alcohol to further smooth out the brush streaks,
Where did you get a picture of me to use as an anatomy model?

What do you use to ultimately smooth it out to get rid of fingerprints and things? I've been using 90%-99% rubbing alcohol.

I use a dry brush to smooth out roughies..I am just lazy to use a sculpting tool as the brush is more flexible and can reach in hard to reach areas.
I will eventually go through the sculpt with alcohol to remove the brush strokes.
