What happened to the 2.0L 200HP engine that was supposed to replace the 2.5? Subaru forums have been talking about this new engine for years. Did it just disappear?

Alot of plans had to be set aside when Subaru was hinging on bankruptcy. It will be interesting to see what happens now that Toyota has taken Subaru over. I think we'll start to see some Toybaru's and Suboyota's on the road soon. Just look already what has happend to the exterior design and size of the 2010 Subaru line-up, they all are starting to look like Toyota's.

Toyota has NOT taken Subaru over. Toyota had NOTHING to do with the Outback.
