I don't get why were those dumbass talking bad about Sato Shoji? Why didn't they train their badminton skills and represent their country to get into the badminton competitions instead of talking crap on youtube? Peter Gade is very talented that Sato Shoji loses the match and so what? They have the qualifications to call people SHIT? Just look at mirror and see how SHIT these people are!
nohhhhhhhhh after seeing this movie for like 3 years now in total like 127 times. Still can´t believe how amazing this shot is en how sato is send into the woods=)

a trick shot in my opinion is a shot which is rarely used unless as a last resort. If going by your definition, if i waited until the last second to play for example a deceptive drop from the bass line, then you would think that is a trick shot, which it isnt it is merely a normal shot, witha slightly different technique to the norm.
the thing he does is that right before the shuttle comes to the racket he moves his arm like as if he wanted to play the crosscourt short, without hitting the shuttle, then after that movement you have to play a straight long, but it has to go really quick!. it's hard to learn, but far from impossible!

it wasn't a trick shot, it was the fact that he used deception against his opponent by holding off his shot for as long as he could so that as soon as he saw sato move left and forward he put it to the back right.
fuck all u idiots givin the thumbs down, fkn juz cos ur a bunch of shit cunt japanese ass kissers. shoji is shit and has never won anything. nuff sed fuckers
Peter Gade IS one of the best players in the world, but its a bit far to call him the most talented. He is one of my favourite players but there are so many other brilliant players out there that it is hard to name anyone the most talented player in the world! :P
what he does is when he puts his racquet out making it look like he was gunna play either a drop shot or a corss court drop, at the point where hes about to hit it, he flicks it at the back and makes it look like he did a cross court.
Wow, sending a top-ranked player in the COMPLETELY different direction...the prowess of Gade's trademark shot :D

A cunning or deceitful action or device< definition of trick...
deceitful being the keyword there. the idea is to TRICK the opponent into a false move.
