I was only a young child when Minister Whitfield started his music ministry, growing up in the church, i have always loved his sounds, him and along with Rev. James Cleveland, and Bishop Walter Hawkins laid the foudation for many of the male gospel artist today, i know your smiling down on the legacy which you left behind.

I can not begin to tell you all how I am struggling to make it past the first 28 seconds of this video. When I say that Thomas WHitfield was WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY­YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY­YY ahead of his time, words can't express it. OMGeesh! I have that video on my laptop, played for a lady at work and my boss gave his life to Christ. My sister’s choir saw it sang it the way Elder Rogers did and no one could leave the church for another forty-five mins. Amen
