  • This was on SNICK

  • I love season 3. It was definitely the quirkiest. I thought Little Pete's friend Nona would ruin the series, but actually, she's just so adorable

  • this should have been the last episode than that last one where old pete got that ugly haircut

  • @RogueYoghurt I hope that's a good thing lmao!

  • This episode is really special and the ending song just finishes it off perfectly. The perfect song for that moment in time. Jeez it still makes me a bit sad lol.

  • @puppetmasterfiles Hipster.

  • They just need to make a new Pete and Pete with the same actors, without any change in the theme or purpose and without giving too much attention to the fact that time has changed.

  • @ZechsMerquise73 A noble statement, but let's be completely honest. The only way any kids/ tweens/ teens could ever like Pete and Pete now would be if it were about teen problems or be some stupid shitty, dumbed down mess. Pete and Pete was good in the 90's and I think it should stay in the 90's.Plus, considering Nick's track record lately, a remake would suck. ( Now, if only they could get around to releasing season 3 on dvd!)

  • @universallogin1290 I was thinking more like USA< but you're right.

  • @universallogin1290 Please they much release the third season..its sucks they held back releasing on the dvd. That's why I've ended up finding other ways to watch season 3 on my computer. Unless they release on DVD and Blu-ray,...oh boy I'm going to have to continue finding other alternatives..and there are a LOT!!

  • @ZechsMerquise73 The original actors of Pete and Pete have gone on to other things, so it's going to be quite difficult making a new Pete and Pete with new actors. Like ZechsMerquise said, Let the show stay in the 90's. And did you know the movie Snow Day was originally going to be a Pete and Pete movie but got scrapped because the actors have already grown up and moved on?

  • God this song hits you like a bullet at the end of this episode

  • WHERES MY FUCKING THIRD SEASON!!!

  • Magnetic fields is awesome

  • Who the hell wants to be a super star, who needs teen melodramas and over hyped ADD shows about being generically famous.

What happen to tv shows about just being a kid!

  • pete & pete was too cool for nickelodeon

  • God damnit, they were too cool for school.

  • So were most of the shows on nick in the early 90s.

  • still the best.

  • well, all this time I did not know this was them.

    thanks.

  • Get fucked tea cup...This is the era of getting fucked by tea cups. What a douche, man, douche.

  • thanks for posting this. i saw this song come on when i watched these episodes and i did a search for it.

  • Why do good things have to go away?

  • I hear ya, the nineties were the best times in my opinion.

  • because we are just a bunch of impulse driven creatures living on a giant ball of water and dust floating through space. on the bright side, we get to die someday and not go through the process of losing good things

  • sad

  • ultimately its good news. we all become unconscious and die in the end, so fear not

  • wut?

  • i'm a fag because of the below comment. wow. how is that?

  • @THEGREATMAX another boy somewhere out there needed Artie, and he'd taught Little Pete everything he could teach him.

as hackneyed as it sounds..."Artie" didn't end: everyone that remembers how crazy Pete & Peter was and promotes other, similar shows is an echo of Artie, is an echo of Pete and Pete. "a part of Artie would always be with us"...everything he taught us that still influences our present actions.

  • damn, for a nickelodeon show they always had the best soundtrack. didnt they have like, the smashing pumpkins, radiohead and the pixies. i dont know but im sure they had the smashing pumpkins

  • I don't think they had any of those... They said in a commentary they tried to get a song from The Pixies but it was too expensive for the budget Nickelodeon gave them.

  • The Pixies would fit so well with the rest of the soundtrack for this show.

  • The funny thing is that the creators tried to get the Pixies on the soundtrack, but the rights were too expensive. They talked about this on the dvd commentary.

  • No, they didn't have any of those great bands. Would have been awesome to hear them on the show.

  • well i was young at the time. but the show and the songs definately gave me that same vibe as when listening to them. which is always great

  • I watched the show when I was about 8 years old and my dad went out and tried to find all the music for the show but was unsuccessful. The internet hadn't been invented yet!

  • No the internet was there just it wasn't capable of downloading music.

  • It was around 1994, the internet wasn't released until about 1995 I believe.

  • No the internet was made available in 1991 so by 94 and 95 the internet had already been around and improved but wasn't capable of downloading music since mp3's were not available yet and neither did computers contain large capacity storage devices in order to store all the music files. The World Wide Web project became publicized on August 6 1991 by CERN. The internet was invented a decade if not more before that but was only used for military purposes. Get your facts straight.

  • *starts slow clap*

  • *Sniff* I remember I cried when I first watched it, and I'm choking back tears now. You know, this episode touched me more then you know. For the longest time, I've called my kid my Little Viking....yeah, I know, I'm strange.

  • Respond to this video... You legend!!! Couldn't think of a better way to describe Pete & Pete. It was absolutely brilliant. Nikelodeon is rubbish now, and never, it will have a show like Pete & Pete :)

  • i loved this episode!! it took me a few years to dig this song in the internet... but i liked the song so much it got stuck in my head. =p

  • I wonder if I can find the Artie constellation

  • wow i always liked pete and pete but i never realized the magnetic fields were played on there! amazing!!!

  • greatest nickelodeon moment of all time

  • I agree. It's gone way, way, down hill since then

  • good show.

  • after all the pete and pete were taken off of here, seeing this almost made me cry

  • No kidding.
