I used a ThirdFOV. I disabled my HUD using a NoHUDTrainer.

Download the ThirdFOV and NoHUDTrainer. First you need to enter a random game, and press the button you set to enter ThirdFOV. Now set your camera anyway you want, now, ALT+Tab to close Third so you stay in third without pressing the button again to go back into first. This is where the NoHud comes in. Don't go back into your game yet. Instead click No HUD on the trainer, now put your screen back on Halo, and you're done.
