  • solar max end of 2012 - 2014 Dec 21, 2012

  • Wow that's some crazy nonsense there foreverflame88

  • @ForeverFlame88 holy shit, please take your meds

  • What about the solar storms of 2012 NASA is predicting?

  • Why do religious tards always talk nonsense on astronomy vids? Piss off and go comment on a vid about the Easter Bunny or something, we're talinking about stuff that's real here!

  • Wonder if the peaking of the Solar Cycle in 2013 or early 2014 has to do with Global Warming, or Global Warming is more due to increasing Human Output of CO2 ...

  • @hapi3rd WTFare you talking aboud? Global Warming coasing the peaking of solar cycles?

I've been told Hippies can be odd from time to time, but you just lost it.

  • @hapi3rd Trololol

  • we think that to be amazed at the beautiful science of astronomy we have to go outside on a dark night and look up at a few pitiful 3000 stars, but it is enough to fill us with wonder. we don't realize that we can go out in the evening and observe the sun when its low to see something truly magnificent. its astronomy up close, what more can we ask for?

  • ice age will on 2020...screw 2012...

  • @arkz22 People dont realise this but we are still in ice age so the next ice age will happen like thousands of years later

  • Why are people hating on @shota31its just his beliefs, o cry about something els

  • My god is SpaceRip

  • @shoa31

I fucking hate people like you

  • @wanttolaugh201 Why so much hate? You mad bro?

  • *Insert irrelevant anti-religious/religious comment here*

  • Great vid as always.

  • Screw 2012 Theory we will die by a massive solar flare.

  • "Sunspots are produced where tangles in the magnetic field poke through the surface of the sun. The magnetic field inhibits the flow of energy in these regions and the surface of the sun inside a sunspot is therefore cooler than its surroundings. As the sun continues to rotate, the magnetic field becomes more and more entwined to the point that it is completely random. This is a total break down of the magnetic field. The magnetic field then reestablishes itself with the opposite polarity."

  • "The Babcock model for the solar magnetic field states that the rotational motion of charged particles deep within the sun produces the magnetic field. The magnetic field produced by this dynamo moves through the outer layers of the sun. The sun rotates differentially, meaning that the surface of the sun near the poles rotates more slowly than the surface near the equator. These motions near the surface drag around the magnetic field and the magnetic field becomes tangled"

  • "The Maunder Minimum (also known as the prolonged sunspot minimum) is the name used for the period roughly spanning 1645 to 1715 when sunspots became exceedingly rare, as noted by solar observers of the time.

the Maunder Minimum coincided with a period of lower-than-average global temperatures.

During one 30-year period within the Maunder Minimum, astronomers observed only about 50 sunspots, as opposed to a more typical 40,000-50,000 spots in modern times'

  • This narrator was pleasing to listen to, unlike some in the past.

  • Solar maximum, that means more beautiful auroras. :) I'm looking forward to the beauty of those.

  • OMG the MAYANS!

  • Basically the sun is breathing. 11 years in and out.

  • @Riotboy1 :)

  • Amazing...

  • I love sarcastic comments.

  • holy shit allah save me!! repent of your sins and slay the wild turkey!

  • WERE ALL GONNA DIE!

  • @uhSTFU yes we are :D

  • @PCTechTalks It's about Damned Time!. We all have it coming.

  • I used to be an youtube scientist too, then I took an arrow in the knee

  • @MrUberSpanky lol, Skyrim reference.

  • Routine changes in solar activity?.....That's proof the world will end soon! PANIC!!

  • @UltraVioletGaming800

Convenient or not, it does fit most of the facts up until very recently where CO2 seems to dominate. The mechanic required for CO2 is also proven, namely that it reflects heat radiations, but lets other forms of radiation through.

  • so you mean 2012 is the solar maximum, in which it gives off flares??? hmmmm is this a warning or not............

  • @cruxader27 not, what a moron do science research quit following the business conservative elite, like faux news and limbaugh the pedophile

  • @cruxader27 ur joking right, did u even watch the video? she said 2013 or 2014.

  • @UltraVioletGaming800

The mechanics required for the sunspot theory of global temperature changes is actually already proven. Not only that, its actually fits very well with measured temperature data up until 1980s where human CO2 emission become a factor.

  • @UltraVioletGaming800 Thats spot on...

    the solar system isnt fucked...

    we as a species are...

stop fucking the air we breath people....at least slow down

  • Brilliant!!

  • REAL REASON FOR GLOBAL WARMING ??? MAYBE

  • @RaDleySkidbeater No....satellites have to watch out though....

    sunlight = Photons

    mass ejections = atoms/plasma

high energy particle are dangerous if you are in space...

    but we are set...

its happened before it will happen again...

  • @RaDleySkidbeater Nah, this is a cycle that does not match the temperature trend. Green house gases still makes consensus.

  • The Graphics for this video are great!

  • Pointless speculation let's see ur proof of this so called "sun"

  • @7orqu3 rotflmao:)

  • I'm not a very intelligent person but this was very easy to understand and I learned something new. :3

    I love this channel. <3

  • Lol at how man arguments there are about religion on these videos. It's pretty pathetic..

  • @Krissypoo508 yep. its hard not to get involved when somebody has the freedom to spew some really stupid shit though.

There is a war against ignorance, we should not be afraid to fight for reason on every front.

  • Sexo

  • @its12midnightbrdy lol why would anybody want to believe in a god that will make you scream in eternal torment? Your god sounds like psychopath keeping his followers in fear, and you sound like a brainwashed zombie slave/evil minion.

  • @its12midnightbrdy if you are in contact with a deity then why isnt it you that tells of these discoveries...

    in a concise way...

the creator of something like the universe should be full of knowledge, but here we are..

listening to more shit like that..

keep your church ideals to yourself and don't pollute this beautiful channel..

    all you have is superstition..

"step on a crack ,break your back"

  • @azmanabdula thank you!

  • @viicISrotcib im only doing what any sensible person would do : )

    peace

  • SpaceRip is pretty cool !

  • @shoa31 My scientific knowledge and understanding wipes its ass with your medieval desert fairy-tales.

  • @A11ex That's bronze age fiary tale to you fella, lol

  • @shoa31

The koran also said that if there were any contradictions in it, you could dismiss it as nonsense. The koran

-Threatens non believers with hellfire, and then insists there is no pressure to convert

-says tolerate other religions, but then advises you persecute them.

    - Did I also mention that condemns booze and then instructs you to make alcohol?

Not to mention its pretty much just like the worst 30% of the bible.

  • @boonw That's some misinformation that you're spewing. I can't find a section in the Qur'an which instructs to make alcohol. I don't see where it advises Muslims to persecute non-believers for no reason. How is claiming that non-believers will go to hellfire be pressure to convert? It's a matter of Islamic opinion and non-believers choice. There is no force applied to convert someone. It says that some of their hadiths(Scriptures, not Qur'an) are corrupted and therefore shouldn't be used.

  • @boonw well if u think ur soo smart please qoute the place u've read this and qoute where it says how to make alcohol.

and it doesn't tell people belive the Koran it says read and learn and you will understand.

and it does say the we should tolerate other religions, But where does it say that we should persecute them. please qoute the vers"sura" and line

  • Comment removed

  • @MrAde9999 surah 2:190; surah 8:12; surah 9:5 say that you should 'persecute' anyone that disputes your bullshit religion.

  • @yeshuahfullofit sura 2:190 : FIGHT for Gods things"causes" against those who bring war to you, but de be the first to attack.

sura 8:12 : It speaks about freing ur self from the Devils dirt.

sura 9:5 speaks about those who belive in IDOLATRY "google translate" should be captured and killed if they don't regret and pay the allmosestax and that God is mercyful and forgiving.

according to islam jews kristians muslims are all the same just 3 diffrent languges and rules same messag

  • @MrAde9999 That is your 'interpretation'. Put up the actual texts and let others judge, or I will. ; )

  • @yeshuahfullofit go ahead

  • @yeshuahfullofit and i couldn't acctually fit the entire text

  • @shoa31

lol. Your god "created" light in day1 and the sun in day4 so fuck off with your bullshit stories.

  • @rmpumper Well, according to the big bang model of the universe, wouldn't light be created before stars as well?

  • @rmpumper

    hahaha great answer :D

  • @rmpumper That's correct. Jesus Christ (GOD) with a capital "G," created light on the first day about 6,000 years ago before the sun probably because He wanted to emphasize the idea that there can be light without sunlight since God Himself is light. Earth's significance is also implied if earth is created before the sun. Also, God perhaps created light first without the sun to show people that God alone should be worshiped and not the sun. Please use civilized language. Subscribe! :)

  • @rmpumper Feeling bad about others will only make yourself feel bad since if others feel bad after you use bad language to them, it's because of their OWN REACTION to your words and not because you made them feel bad. Think of it this way: The sun makes clay harden and butter melt because it is in the NATURE/REACTION of the clay to harden and the butter to soften in sunlight. Subscribe to my channel if you have genitals. :)

  • @rmpumper Are you open-minded? If you are, watch "CSE-01 Age of the Earth FULL Kent Hovind" on YouTube soon or soon and later in bits and pieces.

  • @ForeverFlame88 Kent Hovind is a retard, why are you actually mentioning him? There is no evidence any god exists. Therefore, untill you have evidence, you should stop spewing utter stupidity and linking videos of convicted fraudsters who know absolutely nothing about science. Go away. Also, don't tell people to use civilized fucking language on a public fucking forum. Go fuck yourself, you fucking ignorant fuckwit. If you don't fucking like it, fuck off and go somewhere fucking else, fucker.

  • @66gt40lm -Hey, dude; no need to let anyone 'get your goat'. Your blood pressure seems to have shot upward dangerously, but whoeveryou were railing against about whatever... was unaffected. (BTW, the favorite word in your -apparantely limited- vocabulary does not mean what you think. Nor the gesture you likely at least envisioned. It originated as an indication that one had the neccesary digits to uperate a longbow. Interesting, eh?)

  • @Jefferdaughter I have to say, your logic is outstanding. Honestly, I wasn't getting angry, if that's what you were implying. I was merely pointing out the fact that he should stay away from the internet if he doesn't want to see words like "fuck." That actually was effective, at least from this video, because he hasn't come back. From a cultural aspect, I used the word correctly because of its slang meanings. It's not a limited vocabulary, I just like how colorful the word is.

  • @rmpumper If God can create stars, God can also create the result of the sources of light he created (light waves already en-route to Earth, for example). Watch Hovind's seminars to see why star formation is a hoax. Basically, gas does not condense on it's own. And even if it does, the gas heats up so it drives the gas cloud apart again: Boyle's gas law.

  • @rmpumper Star formation is a misinterpretation of the observation that stars have moved out of dust clouds so that they "appear to have formed" even though they have not formed and are just becoming brighter spots because dust is clearing more and more, whereas before, more dust was obstructing the star and thus making it looks "infant-like" and smaller. Subscribe! :)

  • @ForeverFlame88 Okay so u say that gravity pulling gas particlesis toward each other to form stars can't happen. what formed the stars that are already formed, what is making the stars that are forming today?

  • how the fuck do you know this.

  • @shota31 Humanity will grow away from your stupid beliefs, either shut up or say something constructive.

  • I have a question do this affect the greenhouse gasses on earth?

  • @tameshk1 It will affect global temperature, if that is what you mean.

  • @BasicSpace42 Yeah, that's what I meant. Wouldn't this be one of the other reasons why the planet is heating up? or no?

  • @tameshk1 Solar activity decreased the last decades. It even shows it in the video. So no ;)

  • @BasicSpace42 Thank you!

  • @tameshk1 it's factored into models ,scientist are not stupid you know :)

  • @sausage4mash Haha, never had the thought of mind about that (about the scientist). Makes sense. Thank you.

  • it was wondering... maybe some of you can answer me ..... if the sun flips the magnetic poles every 11 years... do that means that maybe the earth can also change their magnetic poles faster than the scientifics said of maybe tousand of years ? thx and sorry for my bad english ...im learning :)

  • @Knas88 Well I would venture a guess a say no. Here is why: the magnetic field of earth is different than the one on the sun. The suns magnetic field is violently fluctuating, whereas the earths field is more stable. The reason why the sun's magnetic poles can change so fast, is because if the high activity in the sun's core, the reason why the earth's magnetic poles doesn't shift like that is cos of the low activity in our core. However, it is just a guess... but I think it makes sense

  • @BjornSeverinLarsen At least you are thinking for yourself and not letting a moron like Al frickin Gore make your mind up for you. That man is a piriah on this earth.

  • @BjornSeverinLarsen Yeah that's correct. And if the Earth's magnetic field does switch, we're in trouble :S

  • @lhodgel its not a problem....

  • @azmanabdula Only because the Earth's poles switch so infrequently :)

  • @BjornSeverinLarsen aha!... thank you for the answer... it makes sense now that you name it :)

  • I may be a little drunk, but is there really a reason why some tits hit the dislike button?

  • I like how idiots are now going to use these scientific facts into their fantasy theories. Just wait for it.

  • @toocoolforu why do you like that? I hate it.

  • @toocoolforu You mean biblical prophesy, New World Order conspiracy, or global warming hoax conspiracy?

  • @toocoolforu i have no opinion or comment on what you said..free speech rocks! but the word you were looking for was 'incorporate' ,not 'use'. or you could have used 'for' instead of 'into' . im not calling you an idiot by any means. have a pleasant tomorrow :D

  • @toocoolforu You're about several decades late. It's already been incorporated into multiple doomsday theories over the years.

  • When you see images like those of the sun, you can see just how powerful and scary it really is!

  • Why do I see so many post from people that have nothing, nothing at all to say? Are you folk coming from Spacebook? If so, mind your manners and write something worth reading, please! I don't care if it's religion, science, history or your grandma! Write something worth reading or don't post anything; I see post like: More epic videos pleasee! or 3 people tried to go to the sun at night or I like space. :) or moar! :D or epic music is epic or sucks or Spacebook lame posters...go home!

  • @MikerGTX Let them. When 2012 passes they'll look even more foolish.

  • Comment removed

  • How the hell do they know what's in side the sun anyway? Any kind of craft of probe would vaporize in there for sure.

  • 3 people tried to go to the sun at night

  • Who is the 3 dislikers that came here and isn't smart enough to understand the sun's "sunspots"? They must be dumb. ;)

  • ooooh very good research indeed and video :)

  • More epic videos pleasee!

  • How exactly does one find magnetic fields remotely? It sounds expensive to fly a probe near the surface of the sun, with a magnetic compass just to send back telemetry.

  • I like space. :)

  • moar! :D

  • epic music is epic

  • sucks

  • Sun sun sun here it comes *sing*

  • Dumb question: are the two cycles related? The narrative wasn't clear to me. Thanks :)

  • Fantastic :)

  • fantastic video!

  • @shoa31 Seriously, shut up and watch the video. Always when there's an astronomical-related video, there's always going be idiots like you talking about religion and shit with it. If you're going to comment on a video, comment about the video or not comment at all, Moron.

  • @lights473

Actually "moron" is not a proper noun, moron.

  • @shoa31 STFU MORON

  • @shoa31 Wrong!

  • @shoa31 Just because you cant understand science, doesnt mean you have to tell others to believe in a stupid religion like you.

  • @shoa31 I mean this with as much disrespect to whatever you believe in, kill yourself and make the world a little bit better place. Religion is bull shit to control, you are a slave. You will die a nobody

  • this woman makes a lot of tss tss sounds

  • @SteveDutchy Its called a wisp some people have it naturally and some people ( I dont know why) force themselves to use it

  • @SteveDutchy my bad on the last comment lisp i meant not wisp

  • WHAT IS THE SONG FROM 0:11 to 0:22! I MUST KNOW!!!!!!

  • so the world isn't gonna end?

  • @xyxean Yes it will, in about 7.5 billion years the Sun will become a red giant.

There is good news, the Earth will be totally uninhabitable by vertebrates in about one billion years so we wont have to worry about it. Also, the Sun will end up as a white dwarf, basically a really big(About the size of the Earth) and ultra-dense radioactive diamond that wont cool off for a few trillion years.

  • Except this time its the end of the cycle;-)

  • Most interesting thanks!

  • @Stafare What is the definition of "world" that you're using? You mean the Earth? If the sun spits solar flares at us and our planet might get fried in the process, what we can do?... What will end is our planet not the entire world... "The world" i.e. our solar system or other solar systems in our own Milky Way galaxy or other billion galaxies with their billion stars will still remain there... so who cares if our planet gets fried the universe is still there. So "the world" is not going to end

  • Download Harmonux 0.1.4 Harmonic Analysis for Windows and Linux. Free Open source in lazarus/free pascal. With graphics and a table with the sun spots cycle from 1700 to 2010. With harmonic analysis you can predict the next peak.

  • What's with all the shitty comments lately? Eventually the dumb masses find channels like this to pollute. This also happened to several news sites i used to frequent; it's a damn shame.

  • @HiAdrian It happens on almost all science related channels lately...and youtube in general is being infested by mediocre minds and trolls.

  • @HiAdrian ~ the Spacebook folk are levitating to Google, God help us!

  • SCIENCE!

  • I miss your videos. Sun flips are very interesting

  • thanks great work

  • WHAT no bad stuff? Damn..How are the Doom and Gloom people supposed to use this video?

  • @BabylonsKing they will say "oh nibiru uses cycles too! it comes every 1000 sun cycles!" or some bs

  • @Xellith How true How True...We're in that 1000 years cycle as we speak right?

  • Uncommonly low amounts of sunspots at solar maximum probably just mean that we're using too much fossil fuels, also global warming herp derp.

  • @nVidia6000 Sorry to inform you that our destructive ways on this planet have nothing to do with the sun herpaderpinslurpin

  • @nVidia6000 How the fuck does that affect the amount of sunspots the sun has?

  • @XxdragicexX3 Are you seriously dumb enough not to realize my post was pure sarcasm?

  • 100 likes 0 dislikes. Wow!!

  • the rope is slowing before the snap!

"a day like a year a day like a month a day like a week and the rest are normal"

  • This video is false.!

  • Great video as usual. But why is this tagged with UFO and alien? #trickstogetmorehits

  • @RichieJohnSauls

May be aliens will visit earth only during solar minimums ;-)

  • I don't get it. If the Sun is a huge magnet - what is it's Curie point?

I mean, should there be any magnets at this temperature at all?

  • @sandslash123 If the sun is plasma/electric then it could be magnetic, plasma temps are cool, maybe thats why when we see a comet nearing the sun it does not melt, i'm sure that what we are told is a partial lie about the sun and diameter as well, the science community is up nasas butt and blindly believe it all science and history has many misleading lies changed to dumb us down since 1700's by the illuminatists and vatican :(

  • @sumstuff46 Yea, I'm aware of that, however those instances you've named are not the only ones participating in it.
