is this truly an ARPG or it's just another cinema-mmo? if it's another game where for action they mean i have to watch pixels and keep them healthy with potions, then i'll be ashamed once more of how the Action-MMO genre is getting horrendously overrated...action's supposed to mean you go button-mashing style like old arcade games, not button-mashing your favourite potion/cure/heal/whatever-keep­s-you-alive hotkey...

Again, the informations we got from EnMasse and Frogster:

- Yes, there will be a monthly subscription fee.

- The price of that fee will be compareable to those from any p2p MMO.

- There will be 6 Races and 8 Classes.

- It's being discussed if every Race can be every Class.

- Tera WILL NOT have an Item-Shop, except for, maybe, "New Charactername-blah"

- The World of Tera is based of of the Unreal-Engine 3, that means everything you 'see' you can 'go to'.

I don't get why so many people don't like P2P games, if you actually think about it, P2P MMO's are probably one of the cheapest forms of paid entertainment. Think about it, you pay 15 dollars a month only, you pay that much or more for a total trip to the movie theaters and most people can do see a movie two or three times a month, or even if you just rent three movies a month, they cost like 5 or 6 dollars to rent. So what's the big deal with paying 15 dollars? Just cut out McDonalds one day...

And if it's cause you can't afford it....then you should really be rethinking your priorities, and if it's a financial issue, I hardly think gaming is what you should be doing.

i think this game play setting is base on keyboard controller...as i saw in the other clip...unlike usual online games clicking the mouse used to attact the monster....unlike this one...the mob or the character can can parry while under attacted...

In the case of an EU version, it'll take a while to come out. At the very least over a year and a half, though beta sign up has already started. TERA's combats seems extremely fun though, reminds me of the dungeon running, smash-em up games.

You can NOT fly anywhere in Aion. Flying in Aion is VEEERY limited. Also, you forgot to mention that Aion's playerbase is going down the drain- and that it's system is full of Luck-fail. AND you forgot to mention that TERA is an Action-MMORPG, so it can, in no way, shape or form be compared to a Standart-MMO like AION.
