Any competent Trombonist should not have any problem seeing the 8va and playing it how you did. Great job and thanks for saving me the trouble of writing this in Sibelius ;)
Sometimes the easiest way isn't the best way. A musician has enough trouble translating something so abstract into sound without a minute notation entangling their thought process. In other words I'd can the 8va.
@soundwaveblue thanks for the advice. the melody doesn't really go up an octave, I just wanted to play it up to make the video more interesting and I thought it would be harder to read with all the ledger lines. that was why I used the "8va", but I can see how it might be difficult to read if you want to play it the way I did. I'll keep that in mind if I do another solo like this.
The only thing i would say is write the notes in instead of putting the 8va because not a lot of people know to jump an octave but other then that very good

@12345Marioc Yes, but that's very hard to play. At least for a beginner like me. The highest I can hit is a G# on the Trebel clef.
