@narnia0100 - Jasc Paint Shop Pro 7 or Adobe Photoshop to create the graphics. Adobe After Effects to animate the static images as a video.

@narnia0100 - I should clarify that the spinning box was done in a 3D program. True to the original, the center section was mapped in blue, thereby allowing the area to be color-keyed.
