1.3 million today are casualties(meaning seriously wounded and deaths which is what a casualty of war is and the number is still growing..the stats there are the confirmed ones from january 09)

Interesting how Alan Hyde (ORB) had nothing to say in response to Neil Munro's claims that the data was gathered by a former Baathist member whose intention is driving the Americans out except to say well if you don't believe then there's nothing one could do. Later Munro says the data can't be verified and again no sufficient answer.

so i have 2 concerns after watching this. 1) the americans aren't keeping a record of dead enemies? why? aren't they required to under Geneva? (the last is a serious question, i don't know enough about that law to say on my own) 2) regardless of where the figures are the number is going to continue to grow. at some point you need to stop looking at this as a war, and see it as genocide. peace.

This is what I found in the conventions so far. 1st Convention;Article 16. in part reads "Art. 16. Parties to the conflict shall record as soon as possible, in respect of each wounded, sick or dead person of the adverse Party falling into their hands, any particulars which may assist in his identification."

so the Geneva Convention which is International Law governing Acts of War does state the US Gov't is REQUIRED to list ALL dead and POW's. thx. for doing the research on that. i appreciate it. peace.

This is sick... When each person has value... To argue of hundreds dead, Thousands dead, Millions dead is as imoral as the people who are doing the killing... "PEOPLE HAVE VALUE...
