I been a fan since 1983, I been in his concerts many times and the guy is the opposite of you just described, in fact he is very funny, very playfull and very warm with us.
But my guess is that this is your first Prince video, you are allright, uh?
I remembered I waited like 2 hours outside a club in San Fran to see him and when he came out he ran pass with a bodyguard. I wasn't allowed to take pictures and he didn't speak. He just looked like a deer in headlights. I stopped liking him after that, then I forgave him like 3 years later...not I don't check for him as much.
I can understand your frustration but when have you known P to stop and chat it up or pose for pics? I'm not saying it doesn't happen but it's like a great steak...rare

I once saw prince making a phonecall in a BMW without his security..I was still scared to approach him cause he is so incredible..just kept distance..
i've been a fan since 1983, and although i've not always agreed with everything he's done, or liked every record he's made, there is one thing I DO know - always, always expect the unexpected. I guess that's why I'm still hooked after all these years, it's just a crazy journey - you never really know where you're gonna end up next...
